A choice of boat trips from the harbour head to the famous sea bird sanctuary of the Farne Islands, where you can marvel at Atlantic grey seals, and puffins in the season, and spot harbour porpoises and bottlenose dolphins from land or sea. Walk to Beadnell Bay (3.1 miles) for a beach stroll, picnic, and water sports, and continue past Dunstanburgh Castle to Low Newton for a drink in the seaside pub. Visit Bamburgh Castle and village (3 miles) for great shops, pubs and restaurants, Alnwick Castle and Gardens (15.2 miles), and cross the causeway to explore the Holy Island of Lindisfarne (19.5 miles).

Enjoy waking up to wonderful sea views every morning after a good night’s sleep in the two bedrooms.
