Fab stay at Ugiebrae House. Made to feel really welcome by Hans and Claire. Lots of lovely personal touches and great breakfasts. Lovely location in Seahouses.

5 star B&B!!!
Absolutely wonderful B&B. We walked into Room 1 and were taken aback by how nice it was. Then we looked in the bathroom to see a similarly sized room with an old fashioned standalone bathtub and a separate modern shower cubicle. The owners could not have been more hospitable. We sat in the beautiful private garden in the evening which was delightful. A 10 minute walk into town, Netflix available on the room TV and a lovely home-cooked breakfast was just perfect. Did I mention the bed? We recently bought a mattress which has 4,000 springs but the one in Ugiebrae was even more comfortable. I wish I'd asked what make it is :-) Would definitely recommend you stay here.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast
Lovely clean, airy room. Great ensuite with shower and claw foot bath. Very clean. Great breakfast choices, pre ordered and freshly cooked. Very good service and hosting by Hans. Fridge in room with drinks to purchase excellent. Great drinks tray in room and super home made cakes to welcome us. Couldn’t fault it .

A very friendly welcome was followed by excellent service especially the varied and generous breakfasts. Very good selection and standard of eateries in the Village for evening meals. Thoroughly recommended

I would highly recommend Ugiebrae House. It is placed conveniently to all facilities. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Small touches like home baked cakes in the room on arrival. The property is in excellent order and my single room was decorated to a high standard. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and breakfast is wonderful 😁

Lovely place to stay
Stayed 4 nights in this lovely B&B. Hans and Claire made us very welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean and what a lovely surprise to find cake to go with our tea when we arrived. There was a great choice of breakfast ranging from fruit and cereal to full english.

A little gem
We stayed in the superior double room and it didn’t disappoint. Service was great and breakfast very enjoyable. I would say that it was value for money and would happily stay there again.

Great stay at this B&B. Only a 5 minute walk into town, parking in front of the house. Our room (No. 1) was lovely as was the bathroom with roll top bath and walk in shower. Lots of little extras in the room, inc complimentary mini cakes and water as well as a well stocked and reasonably priced mini bar. Hans was a fantastic host, very helpful and his breakfasts were lovely with lots of choice. We would always pick a hotel over a B&B but on this occasion we are converts, we could not fault our stay and will be back to stay here again to visit in puffin season. Thank you for a fantastic mini break.

My husband and i spent 2 nights here, it was spottlessly clean, comfortable, and the breakfast choices were great,the food was lovely.I would definitely recommend to others .

Wonderful Ugiebrae House
tayed here for 3 nights. Location wise, Ugiebrae House is close to Seahouses town centre (it's really not that big anyway). About 5-10 minutes walk to pretty much all the restaurants in Seahouses, or the Co-op supermarket if you prefer that. The bedroom and bathroom, super clean and tidied every day. Every toiletry I'd need was provided. The bedroom I stayed in was a single bed, a chair and narrow breakfast table that I could just about work on as I only had an 11-inch Macbook Air. A bigger laptop would not fit. The bed was clean with a medium firm mattress and really comfortable. One thing to note is that I'm really not that tall or big and I thought the bed was too narrow, but that must just be because I'm used to sleeping on a double, Ugiebrae House is run by the gentleman Hans. This guest house is just about the most thorough I ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly think a guest could need has been considered and available in the room. Fridge,water, tea, biscuit, bathrobe, iron, towels, Wifi, towels and more stuff than I'd need. Hans was such an amazing host, the stay was utterly stress free. He even goes to the trouble of making a bespoke breakfast every morning, with vegetarian options too. I hope to stay again in Ugiebrae House.

Lovely stay
A friendly host who provided some great suggestions for places to visit. Accomodation was comfortable, clean and within walking distance of pubs and restaurants. My only suggestion is to replace the sign at the front of the property or advertise the street number as it was easy to drive past and miss it.
