Lovely warm, cosy and relaxing stay!
Clean, spacious and well furnished apartment in amazing location. Log burner just perfect for the time of year we were warm and cosy all weekend. Great for walks and exploring seahouses. Everything we needed and host really helpful Thank you! Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

A happy stay.
The property was clean and beautfully situated overlooking the sea. Privacy was an issue as there was a walkway immediately outside, so perhaps a net curtain at the bedroom window, so you could enjoy the view of the sea whilst having your morning cuppa in bed, without being observed by passers by, mostly dog walkers. 😊

Week away with parents
A great location with a fabulous outlook. Very central area to access various places In Northumberland. Property was more than adequate for our party of 4 adults. We had brought parents up for a holiday in the area. Everything was on a ground floor. Could have done with some hooks for hanging items in the second bedroom. Overall we had a wonderful week away and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Week
Had a great week at this lovely property in a great location. Parking is limited but it is possible to find on street outside the unique courtyard. The property is well equipped with a high end kitchen and top quality appliances. We all agreed the beds were extremely comfortable which is always a real bonus. We would certainly visit again.

Seahouses stay
Perfect location, lovely flat with amazing views over the harbour! Unfortunately the whole flat including the exterior outside space needed a good clean. Once this is done I would recommend staying here.

Great location, little sunshine into property.
Owner has kitted out the property with quality furnishings and content. A teapot would be handy and a blind for the kitchen window is recommended for privacy. A rug in the main bedroom would be a sensible addition. Overall though a very nice place to stay in Northumberland.

Weekend in Seahouses
Had a lovely few days. House was very central for amenities and walks along the beach. Stunning views from the lounge across the harbour and over to the Farne Islands. A very homely and well equipped cottage.

Very nice property, well equipped, great location. Lovely and warm at all times and we had awful weather. Worth noting that although it is ground level accommodation, there are a couple of steps into the kitchen. An important detail when you have a disabled parent with you.

Property was as promised with beautiful views and close access to beaches . Property was tired and in need of some TLC. It was also not very clean particularly the floors and in the corners. Curtains and furniture very grubby . If that was sorted would visit again due to amazing views and proximity to town .

Another Relaxing Week in this lovely property with a view we could gaze at forever!
Excellent communication and simple check in. This property is perfect as a base to travel from to other Northumberland attractions (Bamburgh, Amble, Alnwick, Boulmer, Holy Island etc) or up into Scotland if you wish to venture further. It is also a perfect spot to stay local and enjoy Seahouses. We love it

Lovely harbour side property!
Fully equipped, spacious apartment with stunning views to the Farne Islands. Parking onsite. Few minutes to Seahouses centre. Great base for exploring Northumbrian coast. On the whole nice & clean but could have been better, floors,skirtings etc.

Beautiful views, lovely apartment
This was our 6th visit to Seahouses., but our first to this apartment and it didn’t disappoint. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed watching the harbour boats, the sunsets over Bamburgh Castle and the people passing by. The apartment was well equipped, clean and comfortable. It was as described and we did not mind the passers by as we expected this. The master bedroom is large and beautiful. It is in an ideal spot with the harbour and shops close by, Swallow Fish (that easily rivals the more famous one in Craster) just up the lane and a short walk to the beaches but access directly to the shore and rock pools in front of you. Seahouses has plenty to offer and Northumberland has castles and beaches to rival Cornwall and in my opinion is more beautiful and not as busy.. My family are all adults now and 6 of us stayed here quite comfortably. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time. The cottage is clean well equipped and cosy with fantastic views over the harbour and the Farne islands. Ideally situated to visit lots of lovely places and lovely base for walking too

Amazing location.
The location was great, open the lounge door for a uninterrupted view of the sea and harbour. Well equipped and spacious. And quick friendly answers from owner. Only issues we had, we had a van so couldn’t get through arch way to park but managed to park in street next to property so ok, and when we were there the flat above were renovating so noisy during the day but we were out most of the time. Would still rent again.

Beautiful views
Our second stay this year and hopefully not the last. We love the views, chatting to the folk who walk by. We were lucky this week to have seven days of full sunshine . Kids swam in the sea and we left with a tan . Home from home, restful and plenty of room . Wish we had found the butchers in Bamburgh earlier . Delicious choices . That’s a place for next time . We were luck to see the dolphins a few times .We will certainly be back again, and often !

Northumbrian perfection
The property is spacious, well stocked and a has a very good location. It is easy walking distance to the 'centre ' of Seahouses and the three best pubs. The bench outside the living room door is a perfect place to sit and enjoy the view of the harbour. Good for an evening glass of wine as the sun goes down. All in all a very good. property

Apartment review
We thought it should be advertised for 4adults and 2 children as the bedroom 3 is not double/twin as advertised.it was not suitable for our 79 yr old sister also it had nowhere to put any clothes .I think it would have been good when first done but it's tired and grubby now.its saving grace is the view which we loved.

Less than 7 months ago we spent more than £3000 completely redecorating the inside of the property. We also spent £1000 replacing the electric heating system. The 3rd bedroom has under-bed storage drawers so your comment “nowhere to put any clothes” is inaccurate. The description, as advertised, states that the third bedroom has bunk beds; there is also a picture of said bunk beds. I respectfully suggest that if you consider this recently renovated property is “tired and grubby” that you rent an operating theatre next time.

The cottage was exactly as advertised and in a perfect location just beside the harbour, where you can sit and watch the amazing sunsets. The property was clean and has everything you need for a lovely stay. We had the best weekend.

Wonderful 'home from home'
Accurate listing, i was dubious on the first visit that the view would be as depicted, it absolutely was. Great location for beach walks and close to lots of other fabulous places to visit, Bamburgh, Beadnell, Alnwick etc. although, staying close to the property is just as lovely. A short walk to the harbour and there are lots of boat trips to the Farne Islands too. Wonderful

So good we booked again
Lovely house , more spacious than expected . The views are amazing . Everything we needed . After an hour of arriving we booked another week in the summer . A weekend was not going to be enough to make the most of the beautiful location . Special weekend for my daughters 16th birthday and she loved it so much . Boat trip to visit seals and puffins , splendid Sunday lunch at the old Ship Inn, everyone who walks by are friendly and love to share their tips on where to go. Sad to leave but excited to return .

Lovely flat...but...
We arrived Monday afternoon to lots of renovations going on in the flat above, this ended about 5.30 and started again at 8am the next day. I contacted Steena who immediately sorted the situation and we didn't hear or see another builder the rest of our holiday. This was in no way the hosts fault, they hadn’t been told of ant disruption going on and both Steena and Julian kept In touch to make sure everything was ok. I couldn’t get any signal at all there which was quite a good thing! The place itself was tastefully decorated with all good appliances, it had everything. The cleaning company are letting it down, the beds were immaculately clean, as were the bathrooms, however the windows were very dirty as was the round rug in the lounge, the cushions and throw all needed washed and it clearly hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned when we got there. I didn’t complain as the beds and toilets were spotless but everywhere needed a good hoover and floors needed properly washed and polished. The unit under the tv was thick of dust as was the table in the lounge :(The location was fantastic, there was no fire lighters and only wood for an hour max which I hadn’t thought about so we ended up having to buy wood and lighters, there are radiators which heat up pretty quick but very noisy during the night. I loved sea houses and will definitely return but sadly not to homeaway

Comfortable cottage with fantastic views.
Lovely clean and comfortable cottage. Really enjoyed our stay in Seahouses. Fantastic sea views from the living room and bedroom. Slightly tricky access to the parking but we would definitely stay here again.

What an amazing cottage!!
An amazing cottage in an amazing location! There can't be many cottages along the east coast that are so close to the sea, with great views across the harbour to the Farne Islands. The property had everything we needed and was a wonderful home from home. We can't wait to go back!!

Beautiful 'Home from Home'
A wonderfully situated cottage with everything you'd need. I worried the pictures wouldn't be accurate, but they were! Fabulous view over the harbour where we watched the high tide wash over the walls for days. Excellent base for other trips, just minutes from Bamburgh and of course on the doorstep are the boat tours to the Farnes. Can't wait to return in April :) Thank you

We stayed at seahouses for a week for a chill out with the dogs, what an amazing place to wake up in a morning. Steena the owner of the holiday home is very hospitable and allowed us an early check.in, the place is idyllic with beautiful surroundings, we will defo be back again... home from home

Excellent accommodation and Location
Good and clean (adverse comments from a prior guest were not justified in our experience) with comfortable beds and plenty of kitchen equipment. Six adults would be a bit of a squeeze, but ideal for 4 or 5. Most importantly: probably one of the best locations in Seahouses.

Great location, but a little grubby with no working smoke detector
We had a lovely stay In Seahouses. View from the property was fantastic as was the location. The property looked extremely grubby on arrival as if it required a through deep clean, dirt and hair visible around the toilets, dust on items, some quite thick (seemed that it hadn't had a good clean!). The smoke detector wasn't working also. We emailed the owner who reported that she would have someone over in a couple of days - we heard nothing from her for the remainder of our holiday, and no one came to fix the smoke detector. The property requires a little TLC and a good clean to bring it to an adequate standard for a holiday let but if you can get past that then enjoy the views!!

Amazing Cottage
Spacious, nicely decorated and everything you may need catered for. Stunning views and central location for walking to Bamburgh Castle and visiting other locations. Array of shops 5 minute walk plus lots of boat trips from the harbour. Perfect view for sunsets and watching the boats come in and out, bring your binoculars! Blessed with good weather, couldn’t have wished for anything better

Had trouble opening the key safe on arrival but owner replaced that as faulty and promptly dealt with other concerns. We were left happy with that experience. Well located and good view from property. Had an enjoyable week with some nice walks and a boat trip.

Seahouses Staycation
Firstly I need to say what an exquisite property with everything you need for a great holiday by the sea , amenities are close by but really tranquil watching the world go by . The only negative for us was the cleanliness , it had been cleaned , on the surface , kitchen benches etc and the bedsheets were spotless but there was an empty bottle and empty wrappers left under the sofa and a used cotton bud under the bed , some of the pots were not clean in the drawers , the hoover didn’t pick up very well and smelt when used because it hadn’t been emptied . The en-suite in the bedroom was really bad and the shower tray and surround was really dirty , so much so that I preferred to use the main bathroom , which was lovely and the underfloor heating amazing , i felt I had to bring up these things as the cost of the rental included a large cleaning cost , and rightly so , but needs to be addressed , I don’t want to have to bleach and clean showers when I arrive at my holiday home .
