The room is good, the bed is comfortable, breakfast is good, and the ev charging is why I chose your hotel, and that has been excellent. Unfortunately, we are in an accessible room, and on the second day of our stay, the carpets in the hallways on our entire floor were ripped out and being replaced. We are being bombarded by chemicals in the air, holes in the carpet padding between our door and the elevator, which is a tripping hazard not only for me but also my 86 year old mother who is the reason for the accessible room to begin with. There has been equipment, tools, and electrical cords between us and the elevator (which is currently cleared) since 3 pm. on Friday, April 3rd, when we checked in. It's now after 10 pm. on Saturday, April 4th, and the work is still continuing, and the hallways are not halfway done. The only warning sign is on the floor side of the elevator and can't be seen until you are getting back onto the elevator to leave the floor. There is no warning of any construction before you get to the floor. On Sunday, April 5th, when we were attempting to checkout, the carpet padding was being laid down and there was excessive pieces that made it harder to get the trolley and the wheelchair out.
