Hilltop Haven - Seaside House - Views, Views, Views!

Dit huis met 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers ligt in een woonwijk van de bovenste kust
is perfect voor een langer verblijf. De belangrijkste woongebieden - met
panoramisch uitzicht op de oceaan - bevinden zich op de bovenste verdieping, samen met de slaapkamer
en een complete badkamer. Beneden, delen twee gastenkamers (een koningin en een twin onderschuifbed)
een tweede bad (ook met een bad / douche).

Dit huis beschikt over meerdere ruimtes om te genieten van het buitenleven.
Een klein dek uit de woonkamer heeft een gas-barbecue, en op zonnige dagen de
balkon met uitzicht op de oceaan vanaf de slaapkamer zal uw favoriete ontmoetingsplaats zijn ... tenzij
je bent in de tuin en serveert wijn en kaas op eiken wijnvaten onder a
met wijnranken begroeide prieel ... of opwarming rond de vuurplaats (alleen Duraflame-houtblokken) na
de zon gaat onder.

De woonkamer heeft bamboe vloeren, een grote tv en een gasblok
open haard.  De keuken heeft tegels
werkbladen, een gasfornuis, een side-by-side koelkast en een ontbijtbar
(er is ook een eettafel met glazen blad met zitplaatsen voor vier). Maar hierin
locatie, koken is optioneel: take
uw keuze uit fast food, delicatessen, diners en een scala aan internationale gerechten:
Thais, Chinees, Mexicaans, Japans, Duits, Italiaans en meer. Enkele garage. 6 slaapplaatsen in bedden: 2 Queens en een twin-onderschuifbed (plus luchtmatras voor extra gasten). Deze kustplaats is een kleine kustgemeenschap net ten noorden van Monterey.

Birthday celebration

My friend and I came to celebrate her birthday. We both needed an ocean fix. The house is very cute and clean. The driveway is very steep and narrow. There are a lot of cars parked on the street. Steep stairs to get to main floor but they are carpeted. Beds are super comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with two types of coffee makers Would stay again for sure!!

Beautiful Home Base

We stayed at Hilltop Haven while visiting the towns in the general vicinity - Monterey, Carmel by the Sea, and Big Sur. Hilton Haven was a lovely and comfortable home base to go back to, but we wished we had built in more time to just relax in that beautiful space. We will definitely do that next time.

A home-away-from home

Hilltop Haven was exactly as presented in the VRBO listing. Staying there was like living in a second home. We will definitely stay there again when we are visiting friends and family in California in the future. Much appreciated to the owners for all the effort and care they expended to make the home so comfortable.

Seasides weekend getaway

The property is clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable. The property is located close to Monterey with easy access to everything. Private garage (1 car) and driveway parking is a plus. The only thing we wish not there was the early morning traffic noice in weekdays since the master suite is facing the street. Some light sleepers may want to bring with them some noice cancellation devices or ear plugs for that. But this is at no fault of everyone involved. Overall, we enjoyed the short three day stay at the property very much.

We are a group of 5 sisters on our yearly trip together. Originally we had scheduled for January but the flooding concerned us, so management worked with us to move our reservation to August. This house is so fun, tastefully decorated, meet all our needs. The only drawback (besides having to leave to come home) was the driveway... Steep and on a busy street, but we solved the problem by posting a "lookout" on the sidewalk who could direct the driver when it was safe to back out. We would definitely stay here again!!

Charming clean well-equipped

Pleasant, lots of outdoor space. No a/c, but in master (front of house, 2nd floor) you can open the sliding glass door and use a fan (supplied) to mask the street noise (somewhat busy street) at night. The 2 bedrooms in lower level are quiet and cool. Every need has been planned for. (Fan, hamper, soaps, lotions, games, every utensil we needed, coolers, ice packs, beach chairs, etc). This is the most pleasant, well equipped, clean vacation home we have ever stayed in. The home is in a residential (not tourist) area and the neighborhood is quiet and feels safe, despite fact that the other homes are not well kept up. We appreciated parking in the driveway (steep though).
