Good place!
We couldn't figure out the heating system based on the instructions given, but they had two space heaters to use! We only used one, because using both made the lights flicker and we got nervous haha. But the location and sun room (and cute backyard) were perfect for me and my friend to stay in!

Great Location, Not Ideal when Cold Out
This spot was great! Had nice amenities and was conveniently located near downtown, the beach and other activities around Seaside! Only complaint is the heater took forever to warm the house and turned off randomly even when goal heat was not met. There are space heaters, but it was still pretty chilly. The hosts were great communicators and easy to work with.

Excellent Except
Appeared to be adequate parking for one vehicle on street. Listing stipulated that we park our vehicle at the apartment across and down the street. Apartment parking area totally dark at end of building at night. What an environment for potential theft! Also, we seniors require grab bars in the shower stall. Did not use shower as a result. Location great! Home overall was comfortable and setting was quiet and peaceful. Parking and shower concerns cancel any desire to rent this home again.

Great location
My husband and I and our little dog had a wonderful stay in Seaside. The pros for this rental are: cute, little fenced backyard, full sized washer/dryer and great location. Only 2 blocks to the main drag and the Promenade, everything in walking distance. WIFI worked great! The cons: poor ventilation since half the windows don't open and those that did weren't screened. It was very musty smelling, part due to the warm weather, but the house just smells old. We couldn't find a fan (house has 4 heaters) so it was pretty warm the first night. Everything in the kitchen works, but bring your own knives - pots and pans need updating as well. Nice size gas grill, but we didn't use it since it was pretty dirty. Would we stay again? An unethusiastic maybe.

Great location and very clean. Never got any response from any phone number or texting box available. The heater broke on our first night and I ended up getting very sick for the rest of my trip after sleeping in a freezing cold house. Nobody to call and come help. Wanted a partial refund but still no one could communicate back when I filled out my first review🙄

A nice getaway.
We did fine and enjoyed our stay. Property is getting a bit tired and in need of some TLC. Screen door closers are rusting away. Wall lamp in bedroom did not function. Bed was not very comfortable but it was okay. Close to town.

We really enjoyed the town of Seaside. But the dishes were unwashed.
The shower pan gives way as if there is a leak under the shower . Also as I reported silverware and mugs were used with visible food stuck on some silverware and inside mugs. I had to buy sanitizer and wash all dishes in the cupboard to feel safe during Covid 19. Disappointed in these problems because they were so basic to sanitation. Very cute vintage cottage that needs attention.

Older house close to town
This is a wonderful old house close to the beach and all of the downtown shops and restaurants. It has an awesome private backyard and sun room. The place could use some modern touch ups as well as a deep clean. It didn’t have a dresser or end tables in the bedroom or sunroom for drinks and other things. There could be more ventilation for hotter days and more heat for colder nights. The only heater is in the living room and we were cold at night. The location made the place great but it has more potential.

Adventure at the Starfish
The house was clean which was nice. Location of house is close to boardwalk so easy to get around. Arrived and discovered that fireplace was actually a gas stove used to heat the house. Disappointed with that finding. Lighting was very poor and made it difficult to read. Back door lock was not operating so had to have Vacasa service guys come fix it. They were great and kept communication open about timing of repairs. Found a few rodent traps so must be a problem, thank goodness none popped durning my stay. House had great potential but most likely would not stay there again.

Great location!
We’re a 70+ year old couple and stayed in Feb 2021. Pros: This little cottage is in a perfect location for all the touristy spots. It’s within walking distance to restaurants, kids activities, shops and the beach. It has an on-street parking spot, which was always available. The darling private, fully fenced back yard was perfect for our dog. In warmer weather it would be a great spot to bbq or just hang out. The unit had plenty of towels, dishes, etc. We really appreciated the dog food/water bowls and poop bags! Cons: The only heat source is a natural gas stove with a fan. The stove fan is very noisy and we couldn’t have it on at night due to the noise. There were also a couple of space heaters and we used one to warm up the bathroom. The house was surface clean, but it is in need of updating, deep cleaning and higher quality bedding, toilet tissue and paper towels. The bed was uncomfortable for me but just my opinion. It looked as though the mattress and box spring were quite old. There was only one mixing bowl in the kitchen and the skillet was well used and warped. The white coffee pot was stained brown. We are used to having some condiments, cooking, oil, baggies, plastic wrap, etc in rentals and we found none. There was salt and a pepper grinder as well as coffee filters. The lack of “leftovers” could be from Covid requirements. Just a heads up that if you plan to make meals, bring everything.

This cutie is perfect for the summer stays The backyard is everything! And its so close to prom and beach access. Cons: Ants in the kitchen and bathroom Heating is hard to regulate pots and pans were dirty as well as kitchen table bed hard (great from people that like it so please just be honest about it)

Our stay at this rustic, quaint house was near perfect: three blocks from the beach and the city’s main drag, plus the amenities advertised lived up to expectations. The only issue were ants on the back porch chairs, so we could not enjoy the backyard as we would have liked. Otherwise, highly recommended.

a delightful place to stay
this was a lovely place to retreat from the hurly burly for a few days. It is close enough to the centre of Seaside to be handy, but set back from the seafront enough to not be bothered by crowds. The house itself has space to move around in and a very pleasant deck to the rear. It was well-equipped in the kitchen and bathroom.

Thanksgiving break
This was the perfect little place for a holiday weekend. The backyard is fenced in so I could easily let our dog in and out to do his business. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for coffee and a couple of easy breakfasts. Main Street with shops and restaurants is 1 1/2 blocks away and the beach is only 3 blocks away. Seaside has all the amenities we needed. Night time temperatures were in the 30s, so the bathroom and bedroom were a little cool since the only heat source is in the livingroom, but that makes for a better nights sleep anyway. WiFi works very well and both AT&T and Verizon phones work in the cottage and town (not the case in other communities nearby). Would definitely rent this cottage again.

Okay stay but underwhelming and stuffy
Unfortunately the photographs did not convey the scruffy nature of this property. The cabin was stuffy and hard to get much air into because very few windows opened. The location was fine, we felt safe and it was easy-enough to cook in but overall we felt disappointed.

Rat in the house
We arrived and heat was on even though it was August. So house was hotter inside then outside. When getting up next morning found food bag chewed open. Called and they set mouse traps. We got to park only once in front of house as stated in ad. Neighbors used our spot rest of time we were there. We parted down the street. Third morning found rat poop. It was not a mouse. I informed them to bring rat traps. And we left early. Called and found a room in another town but went home a day earlier then originally planned. Say I will get back my two days that I moved out for. I haven’t looked to see if it went thru. I will not be back there.

Seaside Sunfish
The Sunfish is in such a great location, close to the beach & restaurants/shopping/coffee! Perfect size for just the two of us & our pup. We will definitely be visiting again next spring.

Excellent location, but could use a thorough cleaning between guests.
Great weekend at the coast. Excellent location, easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The house was very clean except for the dog poop in the yard and bagged dog poop on the back porch. Ants in the kitchen, but couldn't figure out where they came from.

Great for a couple and dog.
Great location, plenty of room in the house for the two if us. Fully fenced back yard and it was nice to have room in the house for the dogs kennel to leave him there while we walked to dinner. Walking distance to everything and having the fireplace, washer and dryer turned out to be awesome since it rained half the time. It’s dated, but for the value it was much better than I was expecting and the location was perfect.

Great location, affordable old home
The house was extremely clean and well kept, but there was a crack in the shower floor and the dryer went out when we were there. The Vacasa team was so so wonderful and got a new one in the house the same day so there were no other problems! I would not count on that couch as a real bed though as it was very uncomfortable, as was the main bedroom.

Very Cute and Cozy
This place is walking distance from the beach but it was raining so we didn't utilize it. They have a gas fireplace in the living room that makes it a very cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is basically fully stocked. We were baking a cake (it was a birthday getaway) and we found they didn't really have any bowls deep enough. So if you're going to need bowls, bring them yourself haha.
