Bayside Resort is home to a facility with a heated 75-foot, five-lane indoor pool, hot tub, multi-purpose/aerobics room, locker rooms with saunas, and fitness areas with state-of-the-art strength training and cardio equipment! This waterfront golf resort community offers a quiet escape just minutes to the beach with exceptional accommodations and fantastic amenities. These include a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, two outdoor pools, a kids' splash zone, on-site snack and tropical bars, and a fitness center with outdoor tennis, basketball, and sand volleyball courts. There are also stocked ponds, a community pier, seasonal kayaking, and nature trails with observation towers. The Freeman Stage at Bayside hosts a full slate of summer entertainment, including live dancing, music, and children's programming.

THINGS TO KNOW
Bayside Resort charges an optional per-person fee for guests five and older for the use of the community's amenities, including the pools, tennis court, and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year. The local Vacasa team will reach out to you before your arrival to arrange for this payment.
Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within ten days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking, and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Cleaning needs addressed

Showers were full of mold and mildew. The grouting needs a major scrubbing. Frig was dirty upon our arrival. Everything else was fine.

Not as expected

We stayed for a week and the condo is in a great location to the pool and walking distance to the Welcome Center in Bayside. The condo was not cleaned as we spent the first couple of hours calling the property Mgr to have linens and towels delivered, as they were not. The beds were not made and we found so much dirt and dust around the condo that it filled an entire vacuum canister. There was sticky residue left on end tables, hair in the bathroom drains and toothpaste on the floor. We also found the previous owners underwear in drawers and under the twin beds room. The cleaning fee was refunded due to all of the issues with cleanliness. On the second day, we had ants and needed to buy ant spray and traps as maintenance couldn’t arrive until the next AM. We are still awaiting reimbursement for those supplies. The condo doesn’t come with many extras. It has the bare essentials for kitchen supplies, but the fridge water and ice dispenser work intermittently and most of the pots/pans could use an upgrade.

Great location!

This property is in a great location at Bayside. We were right across the street from the SunRidge pool and in the middle of everything at Bayside. The condo is very spacious and comfortable and great for a family. The only issue we had was that it was NOT clean at all! It smelled like bleach when we walked in, but I really think they just sprayed it around to make it smell clean. There were crumbs and peanuts (yes, peanuts!) on the floor in the kitchen and bathrooms, and as if that wasn't bad enough, my daughter has a severe peanut allergy. The bathrooms were not clean and the bed coverings were absolutely disgusting with stains and dog hair all over them. We were under the impression that it was not a pet friendly rental, as my daughter also has a severe allergy to dogs, however we were informed when I called that the owners can have pets. I wish I had known this before we booked because it would have saved me hours of cleaning as we would have not booked this property. Overall, after spending most of our first day cleaning, we had a great week in a very comfortable condo at Bayside.

Great place!

The rental was wonderful... Perfectly located near the pool. The only complaint was the housekeeping, which was not good. Food was found in the closet and under the bed and shorts were found under another bed, which I presume were left by the previous tenants. Potatoes chip crumbs also in bedroom. But, the place itself was a dream. Would definitely rent again!! Only the housekeeping needs to be addressed.

Total Package

This home had it all. It was centrally located and was the most fully stocked home we've ever been to. We enjoyed the pool and peaceful surroundings. We will definitely visit again.
