Unique waterfront architecture on Hyco Lake with stunning panoramic views from all main living spaces. Sliding doors, oversized picture windows and a total of 10 skylights soak this house in excellent natural light.


Located on the north east of Hyco Lake on a quiet yet very open and sunny finger. The location and water depth is perfect for swimming, playing, fishing, canoeing or to just unwind and float in the water.

The Space

Come unwind at this serene spot on Hyco Lake where you can relax, gather, create memories and enjoy the spectacular views and tranquility of the lake. With many outdoor spaces to choose from, including a two-tiered porch deck, a dock overlooking the water, an expansive boat house top deck with cozy outdoor furniture and a stone-built patio with fire pit, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Enjoy the stunning views, breathtaking sunsets and endless star gazing on the oversized dock's top deck - probably the largest in the entire lake.

Relax in this comfortable single story home with 3 bedroom, 2 full baths, an open concept kitchen-dinning room-living room and a family room with tv. Fully stocked kitchen with huge pantry, dishwasher, fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Gas grill and s’mores ready fire-pit.

The bedrooms feature a comfortable king bed, a queen bed and a twin sized bunk bed with trundle. The family room has a tv with streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu) and board games are also available in the main living room. High speed internet Wi-Fi available.

Bring your boat on rent one at Hyco Lake Boat Rentals to fully enjoy all the lake has to offer or take the available canoe for a spin and explore the nearby little coves full of wildlife. We provide paddles, ores, adult floating devices and an array of life jackets. However, we cannot guarantee all sizes. Guest supply their own fishing gear.

In addition, we provide an array of baby items, some toys and children's books to minimize packing for those families with infants or small children. But, please, note that the house is NOT baby proofed and we ask that you supervise your children at all times.
Brand new washer and drier are available for guests.

Guests will have access to the entire property including the main house and boat house.

- Maximum capacity total of 7 guests (Adults + Children)

- Fresh sheets on all beds and bathroom towels upon arrival.

- No pets allowed with no exceptions -- Do note that our parents
hypoallergenic dogs do come to the house around 2-3 times a year if you happen to be extremely allergic to dogs. Please note that the neighbor’s dogs roam freely across properties. They are very friendly but do tend to leave unsolicited souvenirs around our property. Although we’ll do our best to remove them during cleaning we cannot guarantee their absence upon arrival and during your stay.

- We also try to clear the spider webs on the porch and dock before you arrive but those guys are so fast at making new ones that you may some new ones during your stay.

- Please be careful about leaving food out. We don’t usually have issues but food can attract unsolicited critters. Large and small food containers are provided in the pantry to facilitate food storage.

- Please note that there is a drop between the 2 decks on the back porch and no railing between them. Make sure you and all members of your party are comfortable with this.

- Please, use caution when using the steps leading to the top deck at the boat house. Hold on to the railings to ensure safety.

- The water depth by the lake end of the dock is about 10 ft so, perfectly fine for swimming. There is no life guard on site and we cannot guarantee the absence of rocks, tree branches or any other debris in the water so please, understand that swimming and diving are at your own risk

- AC/Heating: The house has central air that is usually very efficient. Given the unique architecture of the house, the AC may have a bit of trouble keeping the temperature low during the day on extremely hot days. But if sliding doors are kept close and shades pulled down those days, it should stay at 72 F degrees. Please, do not set at a lower temperature as it may cause too much strain on the system. There are ceiling fans on every room and an additional portable cooling unit.

- Cell Service: Very limited reception. Depending on your carrier you may have to walk around the deck to find the sweet spot. Internet based alternatives are an excellent option.

- Internet: Excellent wi-fi connection with high-speed internet.

- 1 canoe, tons of pool noodles and several floats provided.

- Boat Slip/Lift Available -Please let me know if you are bringing a boat and I will provide instructions.
