Gloednieuw, uniek familie-uitje aan het prachtige Lake Keowee! De families Losek en Macpherson heten u welkom in ons rustieke, maar moderne toevluchtsoord aan het meer aan de achterkant van een rustige baai. Perfect voor generaties gezinnen of grote groepen op elk moment van het jaar. Dit prachtige huis in schuurstijl met palen en balken beschikt over drie verdiepingen en meer dan 4600 m² binnenruimte, maar nog belangrijker - HEAPS leefruimte buiten waaronder meer dan 1800 m² aan dekken en portieken! Gelegen op bijna 18 hectare bos aan de zuidkant van Lake Keowee, is dit de plek waar u op zoek was om uit te schakelen en te ontspannen en tot rust te komen met familie en vrienden. Dicht bij alle gemakken (supermarkten, restaurants, winkels en het ziekenhuis) en slechts ongeveer 15 minuten rijden van Clemson.
Hoewel we over alle moderne voorzieningen beschikken, zoals grote tv's en wifi, raden we je aan om de telefoons, tablets en computers neer te zetten en te VERLAGEN! Geniet gewoon van quality time doorbrengen met uw dierbaren of groep. Geniet van de rust en stilte van de natuur om je heen. Breng uw boot, huur een boot of gebruik onze paddleboards om naar de kleine stranden op het eiland te peddelen net buiten de baai.
Er is een betonnen pad (hoewel een gedeelte enigszins steil is) helemaal naar beneden naar een patio naast het meer, dan een paar stappen naar de steiger en je speelt in het water! Op het terrein vindt u een kronkelende grind oprijlaan die u een kwart mijl door het bos voert, een aantal wandelpaden en een permacultuurtuin met vijver en regentuin met dank aan onze vrienden in het Seneca Treehouse Project.

Our group of 8 adults and 7 kids had the best stay at the Keowee Family Retreat. There was plenty of room for all of us and the house was well-stocked with everything we needed. The kids had a great time swimming off the dock, paddle-boarding, playing putt-putt and table tennis. The lake is gorgeous and the house was convenient to Clemson for the football game. Mark was very helpful and welcoming - even gifting us a bottle of champagne on our arrival! We all hope to come back again when it's warmer for more fun on the lake!

This was our second time to stay at the Keowee Family Retreat! Perfect place for a large group of family and friends of all ages. Lots of roomy spaces indoor and out where everyone can hang out together but large enough for those in the group who prefer some quiet time. We highly recommend for Clemson Game Days or as a lakefront getaway. You will love it!

A dream wedding reception

It would take forever to list all of the reason we loved this property! It is an absolute dream. The host is so kind and was a pleasure to work with the whole way through. Family reunion

We had 23 people total. 15 adults ranging from 26-82 years old and 8 kids from 1-14 years old. We had a great time. The only downside was that the upstairs loft and room where hot. I would just suggest bringing fans for that area (we also had a lot of people in and out). The paddle boards and water toys were amazing. Mark responded very quickly with my questions. It’s a great place!!!

Family Vacation at the Lake

We wanted to get the extended family together for a vacation and this was the perfect spot. The home was big enough to accommodate our large party of 20 and it had everything we needed. The host was easy to communicate with and check in/out was a breeze. There was plenty of parking for all of the cars and both the children and adults loved the property. There was plenty of seating for eating and playing games at night. The screened in porch and deck provided a great place to sit and relax. The dock was a big hit as we were able to bring a boat and jet skis, plus the cove location made it perfect for swimming and floats. We even caught a few fish off the dock and made smores one night at the firepit. The treehouse is very well done and gave us the added space we needed. There were enough beds for everyone and having a separate den in the basement was great. Our family is already talking about booking again for next summer!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful property! We love everything about it….the location, the open concept living space, the dock being set back in a cove, the putting green, and so much more. Great Family Reunion Property

This is a great home for creating memories! We enjoyed it immensely. Cousins that had not met before had a blast. It is a beautiful, spacious home in an even more beautiful setting. The kitchen is well-equipped for feeding large groups. The huge screen porch was awesome for family meals. Time on the lake was inspiring. Family from the Pacific Northwest kept saying "what a beautiful area." We will always cherish the time we spent together here.

Clemson Graduation Celebration

We had 15 family members come in for our daughters graduation and the house was perfect for a large family of all ages. The open family rooms and porches were perfect for when we all wanted to be together but the house is large enough for those who needed to escape for some quiet time! We had a perfect weekend celebrating our Clemdon grad!! Putting green and fire pit were added fun! Tree house wasn’t quite finished but looks amazing! I can’t recommended this house enough!! Love 💜🧡

Tiger Game Day Family Weekend

Wonderful property for a large group with enough space to spread out. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals-almost as good as my own kitchen. We appreciated the “emergency supplies” to get us started! While it was cold outside and we didn’t use the decks or porches, they would be fantastic spaces for the warmer months! The host was very prompt with communicating with us. Book it for your visit; it is well worth it.
