Very clean and comfortable place to stay with extremely kind personnel. But am glad we just stayed only 2 nights and experienced 14 days of the "real" inland Gambia too.

wij komen al jaren naar dit hotel maar toch jammer dat alles een beetje in verval is geraakt. Er is toch veel vernieuwing nodig. Het ontbijt was ook niet zoals vroeger. We hebben een super mooie vakantie gehad en komen zeker nog terug maar iemand die de eerste keer naar dit hotel komt zal waarschijnlijk wel schrikken van de staat van sommige kamers/toiletten/andere faciliteiten.

als het strand klaar is een perfect hotel.

Tropische sfeer en fantastisch personeel
Wij sliepen in een van de oude kamers, die helemaal prima was! Schone badkamer met goede douche, toilet en wasbak, een groot bed, kaptafel, kast met voldoende hangers, kluis, een zitje en genoeg ruimte om koffers op te bergen. Wij hadden absoluut niet het idee dat we wat misten, nu we niet in een nieuwe kamer zaten! Personeel is fantastisch! Hartelijk, behulpzaam en met een grote lach op het gezicht. De tuin is prachtig, met al haar bijzondere dieren: aapjes, varanen, gieren, tropische vogels. Zwembaden en ligbedjes zijn heerlijk en de bediening is ook fijn. Geen gedoe met betalen; je kunt alles op je kamernummer laten zetten en aan het eind betalen. ATM zit bij de ingang, wisselkantoor zit in het hotel, evenals een shop waar je een simkaart kunt kopen. Minimarket bij ingang van het hotel en alle excursies starten zo ongeveer bij dit hotel. Het was een zorgeloze vakantie, dit hotel is echt een aanrader!

We zijn er nu zes keer geweest en het blijft fantastisch .Restaurant buffet gevarieerd en heel lekker. Bediening vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Wij hadden 2 kamers geboekt een half jaar op voorhand. Bij aankomst kregen we te horen dat ze overboekt waren. Men heeft dan een suite voorgesteld waar ze wat extra bedden bij zouden zetten. Personeel deed erg z'n best. Kamer en badkamer van de suite waren netjes en proper. Voor de rest is het hotel vrij groot en onpersoonlijk. Sommige kamers zijn erg gedateerd. Zwembad aan het strand ook zeer druk. Ligging is wel goed als je van drukte en nachtleven houdt. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Op zich niet zo slecht maar wij zouden er niet meteen terug naartoe gaan.

Ligging van het hotel is prima, alleen (voor ons) wat te grootschalig. Geen klachten, alleen jammer dat de beach bar in het zwembad zo vroeg sluiten (19.00 resp. 18.00u). Verder alles goed.

Was heel kort en jammer genoeg stond er die dag een koude noordenwind. Voor iemand zoals ik, die al jaren in Afrika woont, te koud om van het zwembad te genieten. Verder alles in orde. Jammer dat de TV het niet deed op de kamer.

positive: private terrace in front of the room, the breakfast buffet is really outstanding, friendly staff, internet works +- well, free towels for the pool; there are several beautiful pools; there is a beautiful garden with a lot of birds. Negative/ What could be better: no credit cards accepted what I really don't understand for a five star hotel. Internet connection works only in the lobby/breakfast area, not in the rooms. Extra charge is asked for the safe in the room; no hairdryer. And what really bothered me is the fact that you have to enter the room through the big window. There is no separate door resulting in a lot of repellent resistent mosquitos in my room (there are no mosquito nets)

Great hotel
Beautiful tropical hotel with monkeys and vultures roaming the grounds. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Service at Oasis pool bar was very slow during the day, sometimes due to understaffing and sometimes due to staff talking not working. All in a terrific hotel right on the beach with it's position on the Strip there are 30 bar/restaurants, 5 shops, 20 money exchangers and 6 ATMs within 10 minutes walk. Highly recommended.

It was an amazing hotel. Staff was courteous and friendly. My only suggestion is that with the housekeeping staff as many tourists come to the hotel they may or may not need a housekeeper to iron some shirts at a moment's notice therefore more people need to be hired so that the housekeeping can have attendants offering a 24/7 service
