Disappointed.
The apartment was well located but very small and not as clean as we would have liked. The steep stairs to the first floor were also hard to tackle. There was no washing machine which I think should be mandatory in all apartments.

Disappointing but great location
The location was perfect! In the Praca de Bocage. Near many restaurants, bakery, and shops. Very walkable to the downtown area and everything you need. Beautiful part of town and best location to everything The apartment could have been adorable for 2 people if it had been better maintained. Had to contact the manager for ongoing issues. Manager sent her son to let us in on our arrival. Seemed odd Issues with the apartment: 1. shower was badly clogged so had to take very quick showers for 3 days until plumber arrived. He left the plunger in the shower when done 2. 5 pillows on the living room sofa didn’t have any covers. Just the stuffing. 3. 2 bedroom pillows also had no covers-just the stuffing 4. Broken plastic signs with apartment information that was hidden behind the tv 5. Only 1 light blanket - had to borrow one from our daughter 6. Outside chair was broken along with the drying rack for clothes. 7. Sofa was dirty. 8. Lock on bedroom door broken The manager did respond quickly and said they were having issues with cleaning staff. Not all issues were resolved.

Beautiful and In the Heart of Setúbal
It's a perfect little apartment, clean and modern. I loved that it's in the heart of everything--shopping, art, dining, beautiful cobblestone alleys, the Praça do Bocage (a lovely plaza with food, street music and shopping)... I had an amazing stay and this apartment was a big part of that.
