Welcome to Misty Ridge !

Enter into the open concept living room with tall vaulted ceilings, fireplace, kitchen, and several windows. You can sit back on the sofa and enjoy the fireplace or watch a movie on the large flat screen TV. This cabin is located just North of Gatlinburg and even closer to Glades Road , famous for the Arts and Crafts District. You can easily access all the dining options in Gatlinburg or you can stay in and cook in your full kitchen.

The master suite features a Queen bed and full bath with tiled shower and in the living room you will find the powered leather recliner. Enjoy of game of shuffle board or try your luck on Ringo, the ring toss game. Exit to the large covered deck where you can enjoy a evening meal on the bistro table, or a relax in the swing , and indulge in a soak in the new hot tub. The deck also has great ambiance with party lights.

Roast some s'mores over the fire pit and enjoy an outdoor meal on the BBQ grill.

Shopping is right down the road! From the Five Oaks Mall and the Scrapbook Super Store (the largest in the USA), to the Christmas Store, to Goats on the Roof and the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts loop, you won’t be lacking for a varied shopping experience.

Dining choices are varied from the chains of Red Lobster and Olive Garden to the local Applewood Farmhouse (featuring apple dishes and fritters) and the Old Mill which has delicious corn chowder with corn fritters. And the newest tourist destination is The Island, a walking plaza with amusements, great shopping and restaurants like Margaritaville and Paula Deens. At the Dixie Stampede – a Dollywood production- you receive a feast plus a show! And Dolly's new Pirates show is fun and exciting too.

The main attraction is the Great Smoky Mountain National Park with its numerous and varied outdoor activities. From short, ranger-led family hikes to long, strenuous day hikes, the park has something for everyone. The Cades Cove area offers horseback riding and a sightseeing loop which is open only to bicycles (which can be rented) on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Follow the Great Smoky Mountain National Park twitter account for daily updates of activities and up to the second park news.

Quiet Get Away

We had a wonderful stay at Misty Ridge! We enjoyed the hot tub and playing shuffle board. The cabin was very clean and cozy. The sheets were extremely soft, the shower was huge and the kitchen was so cute and had everything you would need if you wanted to cook! Check in was a breeze!

Our stay Dec2022

This was a nice updated cabin. Seems it has recently been remodeled with new appliances, floors, everything. The couch is really nice and comfy. The few cons were that there was no washer and dryer. I think its in the works just not there yet. The long bathroom sink is neat but there isn't much room to put things like hair dryer, curler, could use a shelf to the left to add more storage. There needs to be a hook for the hand towel at the sink and another hook for a second towel at the shower. Luckily I have streaming service but didn't seem there was any TV boxes to provide satellite or cable. The driveway isn't the greatest and not much room for parking . I had an issue with the door code at checkin and called and the agent got us in and let the owner know it was not working. After getting in I noticed there must have been power outage and the router was not working. I restarted the router and all worked after that.

Far out

Property was just as shown in pics. The modern update was great and cozy. It was clean but could have had a better floor sweeping. The location not so ideal due to windy, curvy one lane roads you have to travel to get there especially at night. Property also needs bath/bedroom table or shelving to sit your toiletries on so you don't have to keep getting into your suitcase. Needs dish cloths and towels in kitchen.
