This is much more of an old camp, than a cabin, with very minimal amenities. If you’re looking to camp, this is a viable option. The road leading to this home would be absolutely impossible for anything other than a solid 4WD truck or large SUV. It’s washed away in many areas, very narrow and dirt/gravel. In great weather, it’s manageable, otherwise, I’d never attempt it.We also walked in to the furniture and floors covered in bird poop, later to find a dead bird at the base of the living room window. Obviously, the place wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. The upstairs loft “bathroom” is a few walls with no ceiling, making it incredibly awkward to shower or use the bathroom, as it’s basically open to the whole house. The listing also isn’t accurate- no dishwasher, no working washer (you have to manual turn water on, which then won’t turn off so your clothes are sopping wet). In terms of what you’d expect from a rental, it’s the absolutely bare minimum in the kitchen, too. Very little to work with. The hot tub was also filled with dirt- literal dirt on the seats. I attempted to connect with the actual property owners, to give them an opportunity to explain/perhaps they were unaware, but can only get in touch with the property management company. The area is beautiful. We were with friends, so we made the best of it- that’s what it was about. However, this is not at all worth the cost and we would NOT stay here or recommend it. At all.
