Locatie, locatie, locatie! Wauw wat een mooie hut! Deze hut ligt op de perfecte semi-afgelegen locatie, omringd door bomen en uw eigen kreek die door het midden van het pand loopt. Ver weg van de drukte om de broodnodige R&R te krijgen. Maar dicht genoeg bij alles om de bezienswaardigheden te zien. 5 minuten van de dichtstbijzijnde ingang van het Nationaal Park Smoky Mountains. 15 minuten naar Pigeon Forge. 25 minuten naar Gatlinburg. 10 minuten naar Cade's Cove. De eigenaren hebben goed voor dit huis gezorgd en dat is te zien. Op het hoogste niveau beschikt het over een open concept met een uitzonderlijke woonkamer met grote glazen ramen. De kathedraalachtige plafonds en spectaculaire muur van ramen trekken het bosgezicht. Met de comfortabele sofa, gashaard en 50-inch flatscreen-tv. Een half bad is off van de woonkamer. De keuken is open naar de woonkamer met een bar of een picknick op het dek met grote picknicktafels en schommelstoelen terwijl u luistert naar het kabbelende stroompje in de buurt. Ook op het hoogste niveau zijn de twee extra grote slaapkamers, elk met een kingsize bed, tv en een complete badkamer met ontspannende bubbelbaden, perfect na een lange dag wandelen, winkelen en verkennen. De slaapkamers bevinden zich aan beide uiteinden van de cabine en geven iedereen wat extra privacy en ruimte. De speciale aandacht voor detail in elke kamer maakt Bear Creek Lodge een waar genot. Ga naar beneden naar de speelkamer op het lagere niveau en speel een spelletje op de pooltafel terwijl het spel op de indrukwekkende flatscreen-tv staat. Een extra groot bed op de slaapbank is voorzien voor extra slaapplaatsen. Stap het overdekte portaal op om te genieten van het privé stomende bubbelbad met de frisse berglucht van de Smoky Mountains rondom u. De speelkamer scheidt de twee overgebleven grote slaapkamers. De ene biedt een queensize bed en de andere kamer met twee queensize bedden, een tv, een ladekast, nachtkastjes en een eigen badkamer. Geniet van de open ruimtes met ruimte om rond te dwalen en verken de beboste gebieden rond de cabine.

We zijn huisdiervriendelijk, maar we moeten $ 75 meer toevoegen voor de nodige schoonmaak voor haar, enz. Als de cabine echter extra vuil en / of beschadigd wordt achtergelaten, moeten we mogelijk nog meer betalen bij het afrekenen.

The cabin was perfect. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. The bedrooms were large and it was nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We had our elderly parents with us. They did pretty well navigating the stairs up to the main level. Thankfully, the stairs are split so it is not a long stairway. It was a nice and comfortable few days away. We have always enjoyed this neighborhood! Thank you!

Family Fourth of July Vacation

Host was beyond excellent and extremely communicative. House was clean and in overall great condition. Location is off the beaten path but close enough to all attractions. Just what you want for a cabin excursion. Super close to the park. Get immersed by nature… we saw many bears which was told by locals to be unusual but made the stay even more memorable. Yes the cabin is up the mountain and can be a little challenging for the inexperienced. But you get used to it quickly and appreciate the seclusion. Great experience!

Nice cabin but uncomfortable sleep

I booked this cabin for my family and friends based on VRBO rating but our experience was not good. Checkin was easy and we got all instructions from host in advance. The cabin was nice and had almost all amenities. What’s not good? There are 5 beds in total and all of them are uncomfortable, everyone complained about back ache and sleepless night the very next day, you cannot remain in one sleeping postion. Also this cabin is fit for 10 people or max 12 with kids else you have to sleep on really uncomfortable sofa beds and you will feel sleeping on metal rods with no mattress. They have many rules, even after paying cleaning fee there are instructions to clean before you leave. The cabin was not cleaned properly as we found used tissues and wrappers under the bed and bathrooms. Location? You have to follow one way path to reach cabin and if you miss the turn you will be driving in the mountains on narrow roads. Don’t expect any help from anyone in that area.one of our friends car was damaged due to above reason. We saw some bears on 2nd day just next to our cabin and kids liked it. The host was reachable and nice.

Great family trip

We had a great trip with family at bear creek lodge! The house was clean and spacious for 8 people. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table and pther games available. We enjoyed being a bit removed from everything. Please take bear safety seriously, we did see a bear 3 times while there. He moved on his way pretty quickly and it was awesome to see him from the safety of the house. Thanks for a great stay!

Awesome Cabin

From when we got there to the day of departure, it was a grand experience. Getting up to the cabin was a bit rocky but, only due to my irregular experience driving in this terrain. The roads were a bit slick in the rain so be careful driving through the area if you're not famililar driving up steep roads. The cabin itself was great and clean! The pool table and hot tub alone consumed our nightly time. The beds were comfortable but, very squeeky. The view was nice, I bet it's much better when the temperatures get colder. Communication was awesome and simple with the owners. Hope to stay here again!

Weekend getaway

Beautiful cabin. It housed our 6 adults and 5 grandchildren perfectly. Kids loved the downstairs. Best well-equipped kitchen for a rental we have been in. Young children managed to lock both doors into their bathroom, and we had to call maintenance. He replied quickly and was very kind. Very peaceful setting. About a 30 minute ride to the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, mostly due to very heavy traffic the weekend we were there.

Excellent underrated cabin. My five year old Grandson said he was in heaven. We really had a excellent cabin for our 50th Anniversary celebration with our family. I researched a lot of cabins before selecting this one and it was perfect. Excellent host, better than advertised, very clean and welcoming.

Quiet and Peaceful

Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the cabin very much. It took a while to figure out the TV but that is because most were not technologically savvy people. But once figured out it had so many available options to enjoy. I have never stayed at a place with so many options. The kitchen was well stocked although we didn't do a lot of cooking while there. The beds were extremely comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the split bedroom plan and make everyone feel like they had their own private oasis. The place was cleaned and well maintained. The only minor issues were the inside steps to the downstairs were steep and the height of some steps were unusually high. If staying downstairs unload and go to the bottom level instead of going through the cabin to the inside steps. Brighter light in the stair area would improve the situation some. The toaster oven kept turning itself on so we had to turn it off by unplugging it. Not knowing what to expect, the initial drive up was a thrill ride, not in a good way. The road is paved and there are other houses along the way, but the road is narrow and when we encountered a car coming in the opposite direction, one car had to back to safe place to let the other car by. A jeep was able to pass by but it was small had enough ground for the wheels but was off the paved area. We were all over 50 so the narrow drive and the steep stairs would bother us more than most. The porch was really nice to sit on to enjoy the peace and quiet.
