* NOTE: Snow is possible in our area Dec-Feb. While it only snows a few times each year, a 4x4 vehicle will be required to safely access the cabin when snow is expected, as the gravel road can become more challenging. We also encourage all guests to consider trip insurance during these months, in case travel becomes difficult due to weather conditions or illness. Your safety and comfort are our priority!

Escape to this charming cabin, where comfort and convenience meet relaxation. With 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, this retreat offers the perfect blend of cozy living and modern amenities. The open-concept living area with beautiful cathedral ceilings and plenty of natural light creates a welcoming space to unwind with your loved ones. Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, a classic arcade game, and smart TVs throughout the cabin, all equipped with Xfinity Stream. Plus, you’re welcome to log in to your own streaming accounts for endless entertainment options.

The inviting living room features two plush sofas, stylish coffee and end tables, a cozy gas fireplace, and a Smart TV – perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. Plenty of games are available to keep the whole group entertained.

In the fully-equipped kitchen, you'll find everything you need to whip up your favorite meals on vacation – from pots and pans to a coffee pot for brewed coffee or K-cups, crockpots, a blender, and a toaster. The large dining table is perfect for family meals or game nights, offering ample space for everyone to gather together.

The primary bedroom boasts a luxurious king bed, nightstands, a Smart TV, a long dresser, and a freestanding wardrobe for extra storage. Each of the two guest rooms is furnished with a comfortable queen bed, nightstands, a dresser, a Smart TV, and a standing wardrobe, ensuring everyone has their own personal retreat.

For some fun and nostalgia, head up to the loft area, where you’ll find a Pac-Man arcade game, a cozy rocking chair, and a desk and chair – ideal for those who need to get some work done while on vacation.

The convenient laundry room features a stackable washer and dryer, as well as a high chair and mini crib for families traveling with little ones.

OUTSIDE:
The expansive deck offers a variety of outdoor seating options, perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful views. Guests can unwind in the spacious hot tub or gather around the wood-burning fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars. A propane grill, with propane provided, is ready for grilling up your favorite meals.

POOL/FISHING:
During your stay, you'll have access to a seasonal community pool and a serene catch-and-release fishing pond. The pool, open from May to September, is located just 6 miles down the road in the picturesque Wears Valley. Typical pool hours are from 10am to 6pm, while the fishing pond is usually open from dawn to dusk. Please note that hours may vary depending on the season and weather conditions. We do not have control over seasonality, operating hours, or any temporary closures due to maintenance.

STARTER PACK:
Guest will be provided with a starter pack that includes toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, a small dish soap, trash bags, dishwasher pods and laundry detergent pods. Please note that this is a standard starter pack and guests will need to provide anything beyond this, should these items run out, as durations in stay vary.

CABIN ACCESS/ROADS:
Nearly all roads to the cabin are paved, except for a short 1/8-mile gravel stretch that connects the main road to our subdivision. The drive to the cabin includes a few turns along the gravel road before continuing up a wooded, paved mountain road. There is a brief uphill section near the cabin, but overall access is straightforward. If arriving at night, please pay close attention to road signs, as they may be harder to spot. For winter travel or during periods of heavy rain, snow, or ice, we strongly recommend a 4x4 or AWD vehicle. Please refer to the photos for a visual of the gravel road.

PARKING/DRIVEWAY:
There is plenty of parking for 3 vehicles, but you may be able to fit more depending on the size. Our driveway has a moderate incline that will require 4x4/AWD in snow or icy conditions. Please refer to photos for a picture of the driveway.

LADYBUGS: Fall and spring are prime seasons for ladybugs and beetles in the Smoky Mountains. You might spot them around the cabin, both alive and deceased, especially in sunny spots like window sills and doorways. While our cleaning crew and pest control service work diligently to minimize their presence, you may still encounter a few, particularly during ladybug season. We kindly ask that you refrain from killing them, as it can cause them to release an odor. Instead, we recommend using the handheld vacuum provided to gently remove them.

WELL WATER: Our cabin uses well water, which may occasionally produce a sulfur-like odor. Please note that refunds will not be provided for any sulfur smell in the water. We don't recommend drinking the well water.

INTERNET: We offer reliable Wi-Fi for our guests to enjoy during their stay. However, please note that inclement weather can sometimes cause interruptions in speed or connectivity. We do not provide refunds for any changes in Wi-Fi performance due to weather conditions.
