When you drive up to the tranquil fishing pond, you will know for certain that you have arrived at a brand new one-million-dollar cabin! Sully’s Big Bear Lodge was completed in August 2022! This cabin was professionally decorated with wonderful and historic memorabilia, wood décor, real life taxidermist items, and antiques, all for which make perfect conversation pieces. The cabin is nestled in between 80 to 100 ft tall trees and right on the pond/lake.
The Cabin provides total peace and relaxation within the laughing Pines Development, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
You won’t believe your luck in finding this whimsical, tucked-away gem! The sound of the stream running through the property into the pond/lake, is very soothing while sitting on the back deck or relaxing in the jacuzzi.
This lovely 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom cabin is perched on a fishing pond/lake, situated on a quaint spring-fed, fully stocked, catch-and-release pond/lake. Experience the back to nature feeling, you will never forget. Bring your fishing gear...you’ve found your dream getaway!
Sully’s Big Bear Lodge is equipped with everything you will need to start your amazing vacation in Pigeon Forge! Whether it’s romance, adventure, or simply spending time with family or friends you can't go wrong with this cabin.
This cabin is approximately 2,000 square feet. This cabin can comfortably sleep a party of eight, which is our maximum. We can accommodate a party of 10 with a blow-up mattress, however additional charges will apply.
You will be takin back by the large floor to ceiling stacked stone propane fireplace and large wood mantle in the living room. Over the fireplace is the oversized 70" flat screen Roko Smart TV for your viewing pleasure. You can spend countless hours relaxing on the oversized couch and love seat or chair watching your favorite TV show or sporting event. The open floor concept is great for family gatherings.
The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with high end appliances for all your cooking needs. We also supply basic pots, pans, kitchen utensils, plates, and glasses. The large granite countertop island separates the kitchen from the living room, also providing 3 barstools for extra seating. This area is great for family gatherings and conversations while the chef is preparing your favorite meal. For the coffee drinkers there is a K-cup Keurig or a Mr. coffee maker for your convenience.
The dining table seats 8 people comfortably. Above the dining table are two deer antler chandeliers providing a rustic experience while dining with family and friends. Off the kitchen is the utility room with a large capacity washing machine and dryer for your convenience. Also off the kitchen is a guest half bathroom.
The master bedroom suite has a private/master bathroom with double porcelain sinks and double mirrors. Start your day in the invigorating spa type shower with rain head.
In the Master bedroom there is a very comfortable medium to firm king-sized bed with a nightstand on each side of the bed. While in bed enjoy watching television on the 45” inch Roko smart Flat screen TV. The master bedroom also has a full-sized dresser with mirror for storing your clothes and personals. There is a large walk-in closet to hang your clothing along with a full body mirror.
The large loft upstairs has plenty of room to enjoy a game of pool or play on the 1000 game arcade. The solid Mahagony wood pool table is a high-end Brunswick, Monticello, valued at $15,000 for serious pool players. The children can enjoy the 1000 game console, that is geared for adolescent entertainment or just relax in the two oversized chairs. This cabin has something for everyone!
There are two additional bedrooms upstairs, one bedroom upstairs has a king-sized bed and the other has a queen sized bed with comfortable medium to firm mattresses. Both bedrooms have 45’in flat screen Roko T.V’s, two night stands and classic 5 drawer dressers. Both upstairs bedrooms share a full master bathroom with tub and shower and double vanity sinks and mirrors. There are plenty of hooks for everyone to hang their bath towels.
While outside on the back deck, slip into the five-person hot tub/jacuzzi overlooking the pond/lake, and picnic areas. There is plenty of seating on the wrap around porch including rocking chairs and Adirondack lounge chairs. Play a game of Corn Hole or just simply enjoy your favorite drink on the deck relaxing and enjoy the fantastic view of the pond/lake. On most days you can watch the Canadian geese, ducks, or the wild turkeys grazing in the yard. If you are lucky, you may see the occasional local bears cut through the yard or see the wild deer grazing in the meadow across the pond. You can feed the Canadian geese, duck or the wild turkey's bread but never feed or approach bears or the deer. You will see nature at its BEST!
Outdoor Cabin amenities: (There are two picnic areas). Each picnic area provides a picnic table, charcoal grill, fire pits and plenty of chairs/seating.
*Picnic area #1 - is more of a private setting, nestled on one side of the cabin. The area resembles a more rustic atmosphere, private park area. You will enjoy the private picnic/park area, children’s playhouse and swing set, great for kids to play and for family fun time. Enjoy a game of horseshoes, or hang out around the outdoor firepit, picnic table, or just grill hot dogs and hamburgers on the charcoal grill. Or simply lay on the hammock and listen to the water from the stream going through the yard to the pond/lake. At night you can enjoy the string of lights that luminates the area.
*Picnic area #2- is on the other side of the cabin and has a totally different concept. The Flagstone open picnic area has a picnic table, charcoal grill, firepit with Adirondack chairs surrounding the firepit. Great vibe! This area is in front of the pond, which is great for some fishing and relaxing.
This luxurious Lodge/cabin is the best the Laughing Pines development has to offer right on the pond/lake. Do Not miss this opportunity to enjoy quality time with family and friends.
Community Pool: Guest of Sully’s Big Bear Lodge has free complimentary access up to 8 people to the Honeysuckle Meadows pool and Deli seasonal pool, during the duration of their stay. The Pool is located approximately 6.5 miles from the cabin in Wears valley.

You will appreciate the easy access to this cabin, no mountain roads, hills to climb going to this cabin. The roads are all paved, with a private driveway. Plenty of room for 4- 5 vehicles, motor bikes, and/or trailers.
We also have a sister cabin 3 bedroom, 2 bath, (Sully’s Mountain Cabin Retreat) which is on TOP of a mountain with spectacular 60-mile 180-degree views off the back deck. If you like breathtaking views, then this is the cabin for you. You can watch and enjoy the Dollywood, seasonal nightly fireworks from the back deck every night while sitting in the jacuzzi.
