Cabin that accommodates 5 very well. Nice on site activities, outside grill, firepit and laundry. We were traveling for family adventure and extended our stay at this property for 1 day. We would like to find accommodations of this quality and price in other locations. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

So cute and comfortable!
Check in was so easy and the owner texted me the key code to enter the cabin. The cabin was spacious (there were 2 of us), clean, warm, and comfortable. Plenty of warm water and good shower pressure. The grounds are super cute and well tended. Really nice and quiet here.

The owners greeted us upon arrival. The cabin we stayed in was well kept, clean, and tidy. Would visit again. Great location if you are visiting Seward and the local hikes around the area.

This was a great stay, and exactly as advertised. It was on the small size for 6 adults, but that’s what we chose. It was close to Exit Glacier which was our favorite hiking day. They had beautiful outdoor seating with fire rings.

Quintessential glamping! Lovely property that feels like it’s in the middle of the woods. Cute and confortable cabins surrounding a central water feature, fire pits, and jungle gym. Wish we could have stayed more than one night!

Host and the property are top notch. Warm welcome from host Rene. She walked us thru the place and suggested some good placed to eat out. Our cabin was a 2 bedroom and easily fits family of 7. This place is nicely nestled in the woods which has serene feeling. We loved our stay.

Great secluded get away
The cabin was very clean with all the amenities well thought out - even towel hooks in the bathroom for each of the five people in our party! The property was quiet and beautiful as the cabins are tucked back into the woods. We will definitely be looking to stay here on our next trip!

You Won’t Regret Booking Here
Do yourself a favor and book a cabin here. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The cabins are cared for and it’s clear the owners want your stay to be comfortable and enjoyable. The location is convenient but still quiet and private. Safeway grocery and the harbor are very close by. The pictures don’t do it justice! We would definitely stay here again!

Great family location
Cabin was comfortable and clean - just what we needed for our family trip. Way nicer than getting two hotel rooms! Host was friendly and helpful, too. I will remember this place in case we ever return to Seward.

Overall very pleased with the cabin. Had a great experience. The area was wonderfully decorated. The inside of the cabin was nice but a little dark. A few standing lamps might have helped bring out the appeal even more. Overall had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place for others.

Cute Quaint Clean
Very friendly and accommodating hosts. I stayed in the Eagles Nest. Very Clean cute cabin with the environment and surroundings you would expect for a cabin like this to be in. I would definitely stay here again. My only feedback as someone who usually needs complete darkness to sleep is... in the Alaska summers it does not get pitched dark outside and the blinds in the cabin does not cut out all of the light so i would recommend bringing a sleep mask.

This was one of the best cabins that we stayed at during our recent trip to Alaska. The owner was very helpful and was there for us when we checked in to personally explain everything around us. What we liked about the property was that the owners had taken special pride in decorating the cabin. In fact, "Bear Creek" cabin was decorated with a lot of bear figurines all over the place including the bedspreads. We loved the personalized reception and the attention to detail.

Absolutely wonderful place!
Absolutely wonderful people, meticulously cared for grounds, super beautiful location - The Peterson cabin is an original trappers cabin that has been remodeled and it really cute with a fun loft bed and everything! Lots of thought went into their amenities as well - who would expect to find pancake mix and syrup waiting in the cupboard! The owners truly care about their property and their guests and are kind, generous people. We can not wait to be a guest of this amazing gem in Seward!

Can't wait to go back!
Box Canyon Cabins is the perfect spot to relax and get away from it all. We spent one night here after a business trip to Anchorage and I can't wait to go back for a longer stay! It was worth every penny and worth the drive. The owners were wonderful; they welcomed us when we arrived, gave us a tour of the grounds, and share stories about the wildlife and the area. The property is well off the beaten path, but the town of Seward and outdoor adventures are nearby. The cabins and the grounds are beautifully maintained including the interior exposed logs, cabin high ceilings, natural spring pond, and fire pits at the center of the property. The size of the cabins vary so pay attention to the description, but you can't go wrong.

Cosy, original log cabin.
We loved the quirkiness and fun side. It was fully equipped for catering, even providing the biggest bag of pancake mix I’ve ever seen. Climbing up and down the ladder to the loft space bedroom put a new meaning to climbing the wooden hill! It was quickly warmed by the efficient heater. The outside area was beautifully maintained and would have been loved to sit out had the weather been warmer. Shame we only stayed for two nights as it was one of our best stops.
