'The stay was pleasant as the staff were very warm and friendly. The lodge is fairly plain and not meant for extended stays in my opinion as there is not much more than rooms and the restaurant. (yes there is a pool.) The buildings are modern but without any architectural flair or artistic creativity. It is a good location in the park and easy to drive to any location for wildlife viewing. '

'The staff was amazing and the facilities were all that one would need. Very good value. Great park for a day of game driving. Saw lions and rhinos and more. Spent another day just relaxing, reading by the pool, and staring at an unbelievable view. We miss it already and it’s just been a day. '

'The Manager Liz was brilliant. Sammy a member of their staff was simply great. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool and beautiful gardens. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food variety is basic but cooked well and hygienic. We had a great time and they really looked after us. We can only say a big thank you and we look forward to staying with you again.'

'I did not stay at Jarika bexause when i got there the management told me they had never heard of hotels.com and did not receive any booking or money. I was asked to pay again if i wanted to stay. So i left i booked abother hotel, and after i have settles in this other hotel, i received a mesaage from Jarika saying it was under renovation and cannot accommodate guests and would put me up in a Waffle Suite. 'We had to leave and had to make a new reservation at a different hotel. We drove in and waited at the gate for 15 minutes and in pitch darkness before someone came to open the gate. The gate is almost a quarter mile away from the main buildings. We honked multiple times and I had to leave the safety of my car to knock at the gate. "it was once a beautiful location but is now in urgent need of renovation and freshening up, rooms bathrooms, everything on the site is very nice but in reality a big disappointment, kitchen limited to meals and the food was always cold, a real shame, the photos the site and the reality are unfortunately very disappointing , never again , i don't recommend this to anyone, sorry "
