'Another wonderful week in Davis............despite a few days of unsettled weather. This was our 3rd stay at Sound Escape. The house was excellent as usual, and we really enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Lost to see and do in and around Davis if you're willing to drive a bit. We love this place !!! '

'We had a wonderful weekend. The house had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the dock fishing and had great meals in the town of Beaufort. Our hosts were communicative and helpful.'

'This rental does not include sheets, towels. You have to ask and pay for it when you check in. To find out where to check in was another job and it’s located 5 blocks away. The place is dark, musty, very old. All beds are bunk beds. Some roaches. We won’t come back.'

'The property was beautifully decorated, the host, Pamela, was so nice and promptly responded to any questions I had. This was probably one of the best vacation homes I’ve ever stayed in. We had a great time and hated to leave!'

'We had a wonderful week! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. One of the best parts was how close it was to the beach. It made it so easy to go back and forth throughout the day, especially with a toddler in tow. It really made our vacation smooth and stress-free. Would absolutely stay here again!'

'Only 3 easily walkable blocks to beach access. Very quiet and relaxing neighborhood! Close to everything. We also visited Moorehead City and Beauford by car, which were both less than 6 miles away. Leashed dogs allowed on the beach at all times was definitely a plus!'

"Mooi gelegen hotel langs onze roadtrip aan de oostkust. We waren met drie personen en hadden een kamer met dubbele bedden geboekt. De kamer zelf was boven verwachting ruim en compleet. Wat wel tegenviel was de staat van de bank, daar zakte je half doorheen, en de vloer was plakkerig en vochtig. Mogelijk iets met de aurco of overnatig zeepgebruik bij schoonmaken. Helaas iets waar we pas achter kwamen nadat we ons hadden gesettled. Omdat we maar één nacht bleven hebben we dit door de vingers gezien. Verder prima verblijf, goede bedden en uitstekend geslapen."
