Historische hotels in Shannon

'The Snug gives you exactly what it advertises: a bed, a shower and a toilet. That's all. But I didn't need more because in a town like Galway, I was out by 8:30 and back by midnight. The location is absolutely where you want to be, right on Quay Street where a lot of great pubs are, but you can be in the Claddagh and by Galway bay within minutes as well (to spot some seals!). The staff was great too. The only complaint I can utter was that fire alarm going off twice in the first night because...

'Very clean, comfortable, spacious enough for one night, contemporary but not cold design. Located across a public (paying) parking lot. Very close to pubs, stores, restaurants in city centre, but very quiet at night.'

'Het hotel ligt midden in het centrum van Ennis, je bent dus niet genoodzaakt om in het hotel zelf te eten. Ennis is een goede uitvalbasis om de cliffs of moher, kasteel bunratty, burren etc te bezoeken alles ligt binnen 1 uur rijden. We zaten in een executive kamer welke er netjes en verzorgd uitzag het enige nadeel dat we bij meerdere hotels in ierland hebben gezien is dat je de veren in het matras voelt. Daarnaast beschikt het hotel over gratis wifi wel zo handig in deze tijd. Het onbijt was...

There is a lovely restaurant and bar on the premises The staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. Shopping, restaurants and sites were all within walking distance.
