Upon This Rock Cabin at Shaver Lake

OP DEZE ROTS Cabine bij Shaver Lake is een split-level 2100 vierkante voet cabine gebouwd op een gigantische granieten rotsblok in het midden van twee percelen met een wrap around dek dat uitzicht op het bos heeft. Het dek heeft veel eethoek en een gas-barbecue.
De cabine geeft een zeer warm en open gevoel met zijn gewelfde plafonds en is perfect voor die grote familiebijeenkomsten.
Hut heeft 3 badkamers, 5 slaapkamers - 4 slaapkamers met kingsize bedden en 1 slaapkamer met een queensize bed en 2 tweelingen. Andere voorzieningen zijn onder andere een open haard, pooltafel, tv's, dvd en videorecorder plus films voor gezinnen en kinderen. Er zijn ook verschillende spellen en puzzels. Wasmachine en droger beschikbaar. Keuken heeft naast koelkast met ijsblokjesmachine, vaatwasser, dubbele ovens, magnetron, koffiezetapparaten, mixer, broodrooster en volledige keuken. Cabine is voorzien van nieuwe Anlin dubbele ruitvensters. Er is een gemakkelijke toegang met veel parkeergelegenheid en een hoefijzer oprit.

Great place for a group

We stayed here with our family of 8. Plenty of bedrooms with comfy beds for everyone and the living area had ample seating. Everyone really enjoyed the pool table and hanging out on the deck. We brought our dog with us and appreciated the fact that the deck was completely enclosed so we could let him outside without worry. The only small complaint would be the water pressure and temperature in the showers and the fact that we had to bring our own bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay!

This home had absolutely everything and more for our small stay. We loved the area, nice and quiet and the drive to shaver lake was nice and short. Amazing place and stay would love to come back specifically to this place for another family vacation to shaver lake.

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin. We have returned year after year in February and have always loved the snow-covered wooded views from the deck. The house is perfect for multiple families with five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The heater works well and we have always been well supplied with fire wood for the wood stove. The kitchen is well stocked. The sofas and beds are very comfortable. The hosts were very communicative and helpful both before and during our stay.

Let’s start by saying this place was such a great place for our family get together. There’s things for everyone to do, the space was big enough for all 13 of us. Our second night there it snowed on us and the kids were able to play right on the patio. Everything was great the only thing is the beds were just a little uncomfortable. Overall our family enjoyed it and we are planing on renting this same spot next time.

Cozy Mountain Home

We really enjoyed our stay at Shaver! We opted for the easy button the last few years and rented homes instead of taking our trailers up. We rented a couple houses very close to each other. Owners of this property are extremely responsive and kind if you have any questions or need any clarification. There was some confusion or info that needs updated on the rental site which I assume is a third party so just go with the messages/instructions from the owner. PS- If you have little ones (or bigs!) the neighbor has an ice cream truck and happily stops by for an after dinner treat!

The House On The Rock

This home is big, beautiful and cozy! We come to Shaver yearly as a family trip with my four grown sons. They had so much fun with the pool table and the eating and sitting quarters are all large enough for a big group! Shari was so good at answering any questions or concerns!! The only downside is, there’s no central air so if it’s in the hotter summer months, it’s pretty warm. We came early this year, in June, so it was perfect! Bring a can opener, that was the only thing missing for us! I hope we can stay here again!!!

Very nice stay

The stay was wonderful, how ever I think the house keeping is not keeping up with making sure to dust the window seals for spiderwebs, found a few spiders in Three rooms one In the downstairs bath were two. One in the bedroom downstairs. One in the upstairs bedroom. I know the house is in the mountains. But other than that our stay was wonderful. The shower with the jacuzzi tub a bit hard to get into to take a shower. My wife had a very hard time getting in. I had to assist her getting in and out. Might consider in the future removing that and making it a regular shower. Just my opinion cause of how hard it was to get in and out of it. Really love the wood burning stove. Kept the upper house really nice and warm. But Will return again.

Five years running and already booked for next

We happened upon this charming home five years ago on a school snow trip and have returned every year since. The hosts are very communicative and accommodating. The house has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Works great for multi families as there are five bedrooms and three bathrooms spread apart enough for some privacy. The kitchen is well stocked and the beautiful deck overlooks the pine trees. The kids have a wonderful time each year sledding directly from the house . They are well stocked with firewood to enjoy snowy evenings . Highly recommend
