'We loved our stay in Doolin! These lodges were a perfect home base for exploring this area. We visited the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, the Burren. Our lodge was so close to the Cliffs of Moher, we even went twice, because the cliffs are so beautiful, we couldn’t get enough. There are lots of pubs and places to eat nearby, and the lodge itself is equipped with everything for cooking. There’s no grocery store in Doolin, though, so get your groceries before getting to town. I would...

'Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. 'The property was fine. We just didn't realize there wasn't a dryer for clothes. We did a load of laundry and had no way to dry them except on a drying rack. We had to travel home with wet damp clothes in our suitcase.'
