Great house/host
My family had a great time staying here. The host was responsive and was ready to help with any questions. The house was inviting, clean, comfortable, and has a great backyard with access to beach. It rained during our stay but did not mind staying inside and enjoying the view and games/movies. Will rent this again on our next trip to PNW.

Cute little cottage with lots of character. The communication was excellent with the owner. We would have loved to come during Summer and taken advantage of the kayaks but we watched the eagles and seals instead on a beautiful morning!

Riding the tides
What a great place to spend time - either paddling in the sound or just sitting on the lawn chairs in front of the fire pit, this wonderful cottage is a treasure both for location and for comfort. Thanks so much for letting us stay for our second visit.

Beautiful and peaceful oasis!
My husband and I spent a lovely five days at Collier Cottage to celebrate my birthday in September. From the moment we pulled up to the property, we both said "wow" - it was even better than the pictures - beautifully landscaped, you could see the inlet in the background, and the cottage itself looked neat as a pin and very inviting. The storybook feel was even better inside! The house has a very cozy and warm vibe, you have no choice but to start relaxing right away, mesmerized by the amazing water views. The kitchen, with its red tile countertops and dutch door, reminded us of being at a lakehouse in the adirondacks. Seriously - it was so welcoming. The bedrooms were both nicely appointed with lovely, high quality bedding and mattress. We slept like logs (which for us is nothing short of amazing). Step outside and you are in another world. The Hammersley Inlet treats you to a constantly changing view: every morning I saw too many seals to count just cruising along the shore, peeking up to see if you were watching. One morning we saw a pair of pretty rare otters eating clams as they swam by. Sadly no orcas, hopefully next time! It was so wonderful to just sit in a chair and soak the views in. The location in Shelton can't be beat. We brought our kayaks, so spent a couple days paddling Lake Kokanee and Dabob Bay in Hood Canal. The drive there from the cottage was very easy, and takes you right by Hama Hama Oyster Company - also a must see. Brady was an excellent host, and responded very quickly the couple of times we had to text him with a quick question. It's clear his main goal is your comfort, and that you have an excellent experience at his home which he obviously takes great pride in. We had a wonderful time, and will be back! Thank you so much, Brady!! What a gem you have in Collier Cottage!

We feel like we found a gem when we found Collier Cottage! It is a cozy cottage with beautiful views! We found the cottage clean and well equipped. Brady was very easy to contact if we needed anything. We look forward to staying here again when we visit family in the area.

The house was perfect. Had everything we needed. Brady was always ready to help if we needed him. View was great. Not a walking neighborhood but every thing right at our reach. All hikes about 30 minute drive. House very comfortable. Thank you Brady. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful, quiet location
Brady and Andrea’s home is located right on the sound. We spent our days sitting outside watching the seals and other animals. The check in process and any other communication was quick and easy. We highly recommend this home!

Killer view, killer whaies
View and landscaping were very soothing and relaxing. Brady was easy to work with and responsive when we needed him but sensitive to our privacy. We saw seals, birds including an eagle and almost daily visits from a pod of 5-6 killer whales. Overall, a great stay.

Very cozy and comfortable house with amazing views
A great spot to relax for a couple of days while exploring the Hood canal and the Olympic national park. We had a few great days at this nice house, used a canoe and roasted marshmallows every night. Our kids loved it too.

A peaceful, cozy waterfront cottage
We had a wonderful experience! We adored the cozy, peaceful cottage right on the waterfront. The cottage was charming and exactly as pictured on the listing. The outside space is really what makes this place magical. The seal watching, beautiful sunsets, and beach are amazing! The water is so calming and I loved doing yoga right out on the lawn facing the inlet. The kiddos were outside the majority of the time and loved exploring. We would definitely book from Brady and his family again. Thanks for the memories!

Wonderful location!
This charming cottage is in a wonderful location. It is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the water and sunset views. The kitchen is minimumly equipped but sufficient if you do not plan on cooking.

Thanks for the review Myrna. The kitchen features an assortment of all size pots/pans, strainers, oven sheets, Pyrex dishes, cutting boards, knife set, all cooking utensils, measuring cups, oils, spices, aluminum foil, seran wrap, and more. Plus a full size range/oven, refrigerator, microwave, and toaster. Multiple sets of plates, cups, silverware, etc. We thought we had thought of everything in the kitchen... If there is something that was missing please feel free to let me know. Thanks!

Relaxation & Fun on Hammersley Inlet
We loved our stay at this cottage. Everything we needed and more was provided, including kayaks! The beds were super comfy and the property was so well cared for and clean inside and out. We saw seals, otters, geese and a soaring eagle. The gas grill was a big plus and allowed us to host our family for a cookout. Many beautiful places are just outside the door and ready to enjoy. Plus, Brady and his wife are great hosts!

Solitudes of water.
This property is located in a well reserved and preserved area of the sound. Quaint cottage with some dated, but well maintained, accommodations. This place was perfectly in opposition to the noise and high energy of my racing this weekend. The quiet lapping of the tide, picturesque sunsets, and small water craft dancing on the waves was serene. Parking with a trailer was easy and the grounds were exemplary. The host was accommodating and cordial. This would make a wonderful small family respite with a multitude of games in house (yes non electronic board games) and a private beach. A week stay would flyby.

Great stay at Collier Cottage
This property was perfect for us. Good access and parking for our trailer and race car. Close to Shelton and a beautiful property on the water. Host was excellent and accommodating. One more bathroom might have been nice. Unfortunately we did not get to spend as much time at the property to fully enjoy it but my crew member said best crew accommodations ever.

Hidden gem on the shores of the Puget Sound!
What a fantastic property this is and the location is amazing. The property is kept impeccably and the home was what our soon to be 8 year old referred to as a dream house and we could not agree more. The views are just killer and the property is in a very quiet and peaceful location. Perhaps because it was early season, no one else was around which was really nice. The house is beautifully decorated with a fire pit and options to kayak off the beach right behind the house. It was a little too cold for that, but we were able to enjoy a couple of beautiful sunsets while sitting by the fire pit. We highly recommend this house, its a great house to loaf in. We could just stare out the large windows for days! We definitely hope to be back again!

Just what we needed
My husband and I stayed here for a week to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Shelton is kind of a random little town to choose but the scenery and peace is what we wanted. I'm so happy we decided on this home. It is such a charming, older, little cottage just a couple steps away from the water. The quietness of this location is astounding but it I still a short drive from town and shops. We really decided to go here because they had kayaks available for us to use but we were having so much fun visiting the antique shops in town (3 min away) that we didn't get a chance to kayak. We also took some very beautiful hikes. The food is amazing in this small town. I recommend the taco food truck. We took some tacos with us on a hike and had an amazing day outside. We got some of the best couple photos we have ever taken. Everyone in town was so nice and would talk to us like we lived here for years. Most importantly the hosts are very attentive but still give you privacy. We felt like this was our home while we were here and really lived out the most relaxing week we have had as a couple. When I first arrived I noticed there wasn't any curtains on the windows and I was a little worried... the next morning I realized why. The view was breathtakingly beautiful and there was no window that neighbors could see into. It really encouraged us to take in the scenery that was around us and encouraged us to get up and enjoy our surroundings. The doors that face the water are so charming and allow you to open the top half to allow the breeze to hit your face while you relax on the most comfortable couch I've layed on. We hope to come back again soon and am grateful for the stay.

Collier Cottage is sublime
When we arrived early Brady was spiffying up the lawn. He was warm and inviting as was the cottage. It was just homey enough to not be stuffy and oh so comfortable! We enjoyed watching the birds and harbor seals as well as the change of tides. Just a wonderful spot for a weekend and close to Hood Canal where we were diving. Thanks for a great stay, Brady. We’ll be back with the whole family.

Lovely, peaceful spot
Everything about this house and the surrounding neighborhood was fabulous. I would have given five stars on everything, except that there aren't a ton of choices for meals. I would say the restaurant scene is adequate so if you are into that just be aware. Otherwise this is the perfect spot, and the hosts were absolutely wonderful.

Already Missing the View!
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful 2 week stay at Collier Cottage, which was conveniently located midway between our daughter and son. Brady and Andrea have gone above and beyond in anticipating what their guests might need and appreciate. Brady was super responsive and his pride of ownership is evident throughout the property. Our children enjoyed visiting us at the cottage, observing the wildlife on the inlet, and we all felt the cottage was even roomier than the photos made it appear. Definitely recommend this cottage with the beautiful view of the Hammersley Inlet!

Perfect for Relaxation
We ended up staying at the cottage because the local casino had no openings. I’m so glad we found this little hidden treasure! We relaxed, played games and puzzles, and really enjoyed our much needed relaxing getaway. The house was very clean, and the communication with the property owner was excellent. All you could ask for
Was a wonderful place to return after a day of Olympic National Park exploration. My son and I would spend the entire day hiking and looked forward to the return to this cozy cottage each evening for some rest and relaxation. We cooked several meals and were very pleased with the amenities provided. The beds were comfortable and shower was hot with a nice strong water flow. Have already recommended to family and friends if they are ever in the area. Five stars well deserved. My only recommendation would be to place a few solar lights from parking area to the house as we would often return after dark.

Hiking in the rain forest and watching the tides
We had a glorious week at the Collier Cottage. Although we would have been delighted to just watch the tidal change each day, we decided to explore. Hikes in the upper Quinault, the staircase rapids, the huge sand spit at Pt Angeles and more. Each adventure started and ended at this delightful cottage. Brady was great - suggesting spots and advice. Overall a fine time that we look forward to repeating.

The best distant place to stay ever, no kidding !
As it was our anniversary vacation, we wanted a calm and a distant place to stay and relax. This place was beyond of our expectations while Brady and Andrea did a very good job setting it up. The Fullers maintain this property following gold standards of hospitality and services. Their guidance and instructions of what do to and where to get are pretty clear and helpful, as well as an atmosphere of the place they worked so hard on to make it that great. Good job, Andrea and Brady, and thanks again for such an opportunity of discovering that little pearl out there in the woods !! For those who want to learn kayaking it's the best place to start it from scratch, just saying...

Great Little Cottage on the water
It is out of the way, but not too far. We enjoyed getting away from the mainstream and sounds of the city. Its quiet and peaceful, and watching the tides can be calming. The cottage is old but has been tastefully updated in all the ways that matter. The yard is nicely kept and looks to have recently updated. The bedrooms are welcoming and pleasant to be in, Its nice to wake up to the view of the inlet out your bedroom window.

A Step Back into Yesteryear
Collier Cottage is amazing! While offering all the conveniences of today, staying there was like stepping back into a simpler time. The cottage was quaint, the grounds meticulously kept and the views magnificent. Our stay was short so we opted to spend the entire weekend at the cottage to soak in all the peace and serenity it offered. We watched the playful seals, walked the beach and enjoyed the Sound with the kayaks. A great getaway, would highly recommend!

Lovely, cozy, comfy home away from home!
We rented this for the weekend while attending a wedding in Shelton. The home exceeded our expectations and the photos do not do it justice - it is even better than pictured! The amenities fit all our needs for our stay. It was cozy, comfy and perfect for our stay with 4 adults and our 14-month old. The main bedroom had room for our pack-n-play for our child and had a gorgeous ocean view. The other bedroom was nicely sized as well. The main living area has plenty of seating for all adults and space for our baby to explore safely. While we didn’t get a chance to walk on the beach or enjoy the kayaks due to the weather and weekend plans, we would consider it on another stay. Brady was quick to respond to all our communications and even allowed us to check in early upon arrival. As we have family in the area, we would definitely book the home again for an extended stay!

If you need a place to relax and rewind, this is it. Loved sitting outside by the fire pit and enjoyed the kayaks and wildlife. The staircase trail at Olympic National Park is a must do for anyone who loves hiking. Brady was a great host and was very responsive to our questions and needs. Very quiet street and great views.

Truly Amazing Views!
Such an amazing spot! We saw seals and deer all while being inside enjoying our morning coffee. The house is quite comfortable and the outdoor space is fabulous the grounds are meticulously kept. The kayaks, fire pit, beach and nature offered so much variety we were happy to just be there watching shore birds, marine life, and the coming and going of the tide. Beautiful location, beautiful home, beautiful view. We rode the rails one day and hiked the Staircase Rapids Trail and swam in Cushman Lake afterwards we had Olympic Mountain Ice cream from a local stand. One of our evenings we took a sunset cruise on the hood canal with Captain Lee located at the Alder Brook marina and were so fortunate to see Orca's and a beautiful sunset. Such a memorable trip and Brady Fuller is a marvelous host. We would recommend the Cottage and would love to stay again sometime.

This was everything we were hoping for and more. The cottage was everything it was advertised to be
My wife and I had a wonderful time relaxing at this beautiful location. Sitting in the backyard taking in all the beautiful sights while watching the harbor seals and water fowl hunt for food. We saw a doe and her fawn one afternoon. The cottage was comfortable and the views are awesome. We enjoyed Brady's great recommendations for food and activities. Hiking the Staircase trail and Mt Ellinoir, swimming in Lake Cushman. We also did a trip to Hama Hama Falls. This is the perfect location to get away to. Five stars for sure!

So picturesque! The views and surroundings are magnificent. The cottage is very clean and the owner is available at all times. Close to town and activities. Almost everyday we had seals playing out in the water. So peaceful you could hear a pin drop! Thank you for sharing your home with us! Cant wait to come back
