Welcome to The Getaway Cottage, a charming two-bedroom, two-bath home nestled in a peaceful country setting, located just 3.5 miles from Shepherdstown. Our location offers easy access to all the exciting activities and attractions the eastern panhandle has to offer, enjoy a short country side drive to dining, shopping, hiking trails, white water rafting and kayaking adventures. The historic town of Harpers Ferry is a short 25-minute drive away, and 15 minutes to Antietam Battlefield.

This private retreat boasts a beautiful yard with a front patio, fire pit, and BBQ grill for your enjoyment. We offer a variety of entertainment options with access to Sling, Netflix, and Amazon Prime, all supported by our fast internet connection.

Rest assured, we've taken care of every detail to ensure your convenience and comfort. Full linens for the beds and bath, along with essential cleaning supplies, are provided. In the fully stocked kitchen, you'll find a microwave, blender, and all the culinary essentials you may need. For coffee enthusiasts, we have a Keurig coffee maker with a selection of coffee pods and teas for your enjoyment.

To make your stay even more convenient, we have a washer and dryer available for your use. No need to worry if you forget your toiletries; we offer soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Enjoy a restful night's sleep on our beds with soft memory foam mattresses, and upon your arrival, you'll find bottled water waiting in the fridge.

Guests will have full access to the house and entire property.
