Montana Trout Fishing Paradise - een heel bijzondere plek!

Deze 10 + hectare grote woning is gelegen aan de voet van de Tobacco Root bergen (zeer dicht bij Forest Service Access) Deze woning is de thuisbasis van elanden, whitetail herten, ganzen, eenden, kalkoenen en Sandhill kranen. Blijf thuis en vis op de 1/4 mijl kreek voorgevel of de 1/3 hectare prive-vijver gevoed vijver, of rijden een korte afstand naar World Class vissen op de Ruby, BigHole, Beaverhead of Madison rivieren! Historisch Virginia en Nevada City dichtbij, Yellowstone twee uur rijden! Het is slechts 1. 8 mijl van het centrum van Sheridan, MT. Dit huis met twee slaapkamers en een badkamer is prachtig ingericht en tot in het kleinste detail ingericht. Geniet van een diner op het overdekte terras met uitzicht op de vijver! Wandel na het diner langs Mill Creek en kijk uit voor dieren in het wild. Zeer prive en rustige omgeving!

Just what we needed.

My husband and I stayed here while attending a weekend wedding. Our adult children joined us when a freak windstorm tore down their tent accommodations. The rental is so well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies that it easily accommodated a few extra adults. The rental is spacious and very clean, quiet and comfortable.

Great place with a pond and a stream

The house is very clean and neat (it's the lower level), with everything we needed. There's fish in the pond (they wouldn't take our bait but we saw them jumping out of the water every evening), there's a beautiful stream, and there's ample space outside for kids to run. The Lewis & Clark caverns are 1 hour away, and there are beautiful mountain roads all around. Would love to come again!

Amazing place and very gracious hosts. Immaculate property.

Very pretty place with great hosts . Just a quick heads up when you arrive: The house has been painted and the location for the rental is under the main house with entrance to the right below. It does not quite look like the picture when you arrive . Definitely a five star place to stay with a gorgeous setting. If you come in mid June , the trout stream on property is not very fishable due to run off .

Wonderful week in Montana

Linda and Dave's place was wonderful. We escaped Houston's brutal August heat and we thrilled with the cool mornings and evenings. Sally did her morning yoga stretches by the pond while I fished for brook trout there. There were plenty of fun options, fishing, rafting, hiking in the region. 5 stars all around.

Beautiful Apartment in the lower half of a home

This two-bedroom apartment is beautifully decorated and sits on a pretty, large yard with a pond. Our only comment is that we did not realize that our hosts lived above the property. If you are up and out by 7:30, you will most likely not be aware of noise upstairs. You may be sharing the lawn and pond with their grandchildren. Our hosts were very responsive to all communication.

Best of the Sheridan area

We had such a peaceful time staying here. The accommodations were top notch: clean, well-decorated, spacious, lots of Montana/ local area books, tons of board games. Best of all was the private 10 acres with a pond, creek access and awesome views from all corners of the property. Close to the town of Sheridan and all it has to offer. Linda was very responsive to our small questions about fishing spots or other items. We will stay here again.

It's a basement apartment, but it's quiet and cool, with a pretty view from the patio (with sounds of the stream!), located in the beautiful Ruby Valley. Comfortable beds and a nicely equipped kitchen.

A Very Special Place

What an amazing place to stay. Very clean and has everything you need, from a well appointed kitchen to games and puzzles. The property is amazing with access to Mill Creek and a private pond with great brook trout. The hosts were wonderful and we look forward to visiting again. Thank you!
