  • The Hideaway ligt op loopafstand van het strand en de eetgelegenheden van Sheringham. Voor degenen die verder weg willen gaan is de Norfolk Broads zeker een bezoek waard .. Allemaal op de begane grond.

    Slaapkamer: met een tweepersoonsbed, Freesat-tv en dvd-speler.
    Badkamer met douche: met douchecabine, toilet en een verwarmd handdoekenrek. Centrale verwarming op gas, elektriciteit, beddengoed, handdoeken en Wi-Fi inbegrepen. The Hideaway, genesteld achter een rustige woonstraat, heeft tassen van charme en alle moderne gemakken die nodig zijn voor een geweldige vakantie. Binnen een paar eenvoudige stappen vindt u het prachtige strand en het bruisende stadscentrum van Sheringham. Hier vindt u zoveel geweldige plekken om te eten dat u elke avond kunt uitgaan en nooit twee keer op dezelfde plaats hoeft te dineren, tenzij u een favoriet vindt, dat wil zeggen! Je zult ook een mooie stad vinden vol met onafhankelijke winkels en twee musea. Sheringham beschikt over een uitstekende golfbaan op de klif, de North Norfolk Railway, ook wel de 'Poppy Line' genoemd, en Sheringham Park, een must voor natuurliefhebbers en wandelaars.
    Degenen die een beetje verder willen gaan, worden verwend met een keuze uit kustdorpen en -steden, gemakkelijke toegang tot de Norfolk Broads, de Muckleburgh en Thursford Collecties en het Norfolk Shire Horse Centre en de Amazona Zoo, om maar een paar attracties te noemen. Na een dag vol plezier, zult u zeker genieten van een goede nachtrust in The Hideaway. Strand 200 meter, winkel, pub en restaurant 250 meter.

We had a relaxing weekend break. The car wasn’t used from our arrival Friday until our departure Monday. Everything we needed was nearby. Lovely walks and pubs. We’ve been before and we’ll go again. Ideal for an unwind.

The Hideaway is a cosy, well placed holiday cottage.

The Hideaway is a cosy, well placed holiday cottage. Although it's not a big cottage it's has all you could need for holiday. The only real down side was that the house nextdoor, the only house that The Hideaway is joined to, was undergoing a major redevelopment, this meant that we had the sounds of a building site Mon-Fri Great town, The Hideaway is lovely, we will be going back again. Fab accommodation, clean & comfortable, kitted out with everything you need. Comfy bed, nice bedding & towels provided, location few minutes from sea & town centre yet a really peaceful spot, nice little garden space with table, chairs & parasol to enjoy a coffee outside. Owner very helpful, gave us directions & parking info, we paid for 3 days parking using the MiPermit app, very quick & easy, car park was just across the road, we parked up & walked across with case. Modern kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, eye level oven, 2 ring ceramic hob, plenty of crockery etc. Wall mounted TV with Netflix & small tv in bedroom. Excellent property and location

Property clean well equipped, just right for two, location few minutes from everything you need, but equally nice and quiet, definitely stay here again.

Kitchen scissors would be useful, spare toilet rolls please. Fresh milk and biscuits appreciated thank you. Local activities and information sheets, walks, bus/train timetables etc would be useful.

Spotlessly clean and well maintained property with everything you need for a short break that’s ve

Spotlessly clean and well maintained property with everything you need for a short break that’s very close to local shops and amenities. Netflix plus a TV in the bedroom were welcome additions. The open plan living room/ kitchen was very small but had everything you needed, although could benefit from a more comfortable sofa. We found the bed uncomfortable as it seemed to be a small double (in fairness we are used to a king size at home) but the mattress was good quality and comfortable. Location: the property is effectively an annexe built in the small back garden of Filey house. Although you have your own entrance via gravel pathway to the side and small private fenced garden, it feels very hemmed in and way too close to main house and neighbour next door’s extension. This may not bother others, but sadly was not for us as we prefer more privacy. Also there’s some on-going building work close by, so every morning without fail we were woken by banging and drilling. Obviously this is outside the control of the Hideaway, but it wasn’t quite the peaceful break we’d hoped for. Overall we were disappointed.

The Hideaway is very comfortable and well equipped. It's ideally situated, 5 mins walk from the sea or the shops and 10 mins from the railway station, so perfect for those, like us, without a car. We hope to go back to Sheringham, which we love, and will stay at the Hideaway again.
