Dicht bij diverse watervallen en de Rotsen Nationale Lakeshore

Gelegen in het kleine dorpje Shingleton Mi. slechts 8 mijl van Munising. Dit is de perfecte huurcabine als je in ATV's als de paden zijn direct uit de achterdeur van de cabine. Plus er zijn veel goede visplekken in de buurt. De cabine is erg gezellig en voelt als thuis. In de achterkant van het pand vindt u een vuurplaats en een grill te vinden. De cabine heeft alle linnengoed inbegrepen, een volledige keuken, wasmachine / droger, kabel-tv en nog veel meer. De achtertuin is een geweldige plek om te zitten, te ontspannen, kijk naar de sterren en misschien zelfs het noorderlicht te bekijken! De cabine is slechts enkele minuten van vele grote attracties. Tijdens uw verblijf moet u naar de Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, waar u de boot of kajak tours of the Rocks Pictured kan nemen. Terwijl in Munising zeker een kaart van alle lokale watervallen te krijgen en als je echt avontuurlijk neem een ​​klim langs de Log Slide Overlook. Slechts een paar minuten buiten Munising, in kerst, is er de Kawedin Casino. Met in een uur rijden van de cabine is Marquette en Manistique. Als je hoofd naar Manistique je nodig hebt voor een bezoek aan Kitch iti Kipi ook wel bekend als Big Springs Park.

Celebration

My son and I went up to celebrate our 30 and 60th birthdays. His girlfriend joined us and she was celebrating 30th Bday. We had a great stay and the cabin was warm and cozy. We loved it.

Cute Little Place

Cute little place in Shingleton, just minutes from Munising. Just the right size for 3-4 people. Comfortable & very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils & dinnerwear. Washer & dryer was much appreciated after a muddy day on the trails.

The house (living room) is small. But it does the trick. You can get to the falls and the pictured rocks easily. They need to update the bedroom bedding and pillows. It was a nice place to stay. The fire pit was nice. Fully stocked with everything you need. The host was great and communication was awesome.

Great clean home.

My 3 boys (16, 13, and 5) and myself went up to the UP for a short vacation. We arrived a little later towards evening. The directions to the house were spot on and we had no issues finding it. Check in was easy. Upon arrival, we found the home to be very clean and stocked with anything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed a wonderful time visiting waterfalls and taking a day trip to copper harbor. The home is located in a nice quiet area with no loud neighbors. It was like heaven. I was a little worried about taking teenage boys to 'the middle of nowhere', but they had an enjoyable time!

Unfortunate experience

When we checked in, we laid down on the beds after a long day of exploring. Underneath one of the pillows there was a large pile of seeds. On top of the sheets in the upstairs bedroom, there was a few black things that appeared to be mice droppings. It was quite off putting. The property manager was responsive, but ultimately nothing could be done to change this. I could understand this being on the floor in the kitchen, but within the sleeping areas was very unfotunate.

Great Cabin!

We have a great time at this cabin! Property was clean and well kept. Basic supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, dish & hand soap were provided. Kitchen had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. So close to the general store in Shingleton, you could walk. Short ride to Munising which was a great town on Lake Superior. Right along ATV trails. Owner was always very prompt in responding to any questions I had. We will definitely stay here again!

This little house was very quiet and away from any hustle and bustle, which was nice. It’s a short drive into Munising and all of the great activities the area has to offer. The fire pit out back was fun for my two boys. As another reviewer stated, you may want to bring some drinking water with you as the tap water is very metallic (no fault of the owner at all). I would give this home 5 stars if there were some refreshed pillows for the beds and couch, some refreshed cookware and cooking utensils, and refreshed towels/washcloths. Many of the towels were frayed or just plain worn out. It would also be great to have a dish rack for drying dishes. Otherwise this place has everything you could need. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Central location to every where we wanted to see. Within 15-30 minutes of most popular spots. The house was perfect size for a family of 4 with small children. All needed essentials available. A big yard and fireplace. Was a perfect place for our first visit to the U.P!

Great Location

Perfect for what we needed. There were 5 of us and we mostly just slept at the house. The kitchen was well stock with what we needed for cooking, morning coffee, etc. Everything worked as it should. Great location for exploring the UP!! So many waterfalls SO CLOSE!! Our main focus was Pictured Rocks and Munising is a short drive for touring! Other day trips are not far either.

The property is well kept and check-in and out process was a cinch. It is about 15 minute from Munising/Picture Rock so it was pretty convenient to get around the area. The host is very responsive and helpful The property is well equipped with all the necessary amenities.

Cute Cottage

We stayed at this cute little cottage June 28 - July 3, 2023. Tammy was very responsive and very nice to communicate with. The house is very "homey" and comforting. We did not spend much time at the house, as we took our SxS's up to ride the trails. You can easily access the trails literally right around the corner from the house. This was a great little get a way over the holiday weekend! Everything was within 10-15 minutes away. Thanks again Tammy!

The house was adorable and fully stocked with everything we could need. The beds were comfortable and the location was convenient to hiking and downtown Munising. The only bummer was there was no wifi, and I had zero cell service, so I had no way to call or message or look up maps/food/attractions from the house.
