'House is tired, mildew in light fittings, aircon vent and some fly screens clogged with dust and fluff, only one hot plate working normally, other 3 heating red roar, no drip plates under the hotplates, rust in oven and hotplate surround rings. Lovely fridge but overall, a very tired, small 3 bedroom house. Compared to other beachfront Woodgate accommodation, this house is not worth the money charged.'

'Nice quiet spot with a very short walk to the beach, the accommodation was neat and clean and had everything I needed. '

'Amazing location opposite the beach. Easy access to 2 pools onsite and nice walk to cafes. Enjoyable experience. '

'Quiet and private. Love the greenery, bamboo and little creek running through the property. My boys loved sleeping in the loft and I found everything I needed to make dinner in the kitchen. The pool was warmer than the beach which was only a short walk down the road and very kid friendly. We’ll be back next year!'

'Geweldige accommodatie, prachtige kamer, heerlijke jacuzzi bij onze kamer, aan het strand met een fraai zwembad op loopafstand van het centrum. Alles zag er helemaal nieuw uit.'

'Had an excellent stay at Toogoom Retreat. Great house with everything you would need. Excellent communication with Kleyre the host. Good fishing and crabbing in the creek and a relaxing place to enjoy a holiday. '
