'Stayed in this lovely house for a few nights during winter and absolutely loved the fireplace on a cold night. The house easily accommodated 4 adults and 3 kids, with a large living area, dining area, 2 large bedrooms with queen beds, and another bedroom with 2 single beds and even another trundle bed. All beds had electric blankets, and the whole house had ducted air to keep us all warm. 'This is the second time we have stayed at Avalon. The house is very comfortable and cosy. The location was great for our weekend. Teresa is a great co-host. We will stay again next visit to Stanthorpe.'

'Lovely little cottage and very comfortable beds. Only 1 bedroom so would suit younger family unless you don’t mind sharing the space. Great base location as close to everything. We didn’t cook but had everything if you wanted to be self contained. Also great selection of games, books and DVD. No wifi so plan ahead with downloads if kids want to use iPads. Good opportunity to go device free.'
