'The location was perfect, it’s the main reason I stayed here at first, I will be coming back next time I’m in town for more than the location.
The room was spotless. The bed was so soft and very comfy. Check-in and out was seamless.
The hand painted mural was certainly the highlight though. The room was a beautiful place to stay, a nice change from the bland chains. '

'Kennett has gained a wonderful, unique boutique hotel right in the heart of town. I remember when this building was an antique map and book shop. The charming building has been completely renovated into lovely rooms with everything you’d need to be comfortable. We will be back!'

'When we arrived I could not find anyone in the lobby but then saw an envelope with my name on it. The lobby area and the back porch area where breakfast is served is very historic looking, but well maintained and cozily decorated. Ditto for our room once we let ourselves in. The grounds are very relazing.'

"We arrived less than an hour before the official check-in. With all our luggage. The room was not ready, ok. But we could not leave our luggage behind for the remaining 45 minutes. So everything back in the car…
Breakfast offers enough options and is fine. Dinner and shopping options at the doorstep, very convinient. Clean room.
We got a room facing Hwy 30, which turned out to be quote noisy. A large a/c or generator grille next to the window did the rest. Off course we could have asked for another room, but when you already have settled after a long day travel, not so fine. So all together, we think it is over-rated and overpriced. Not a bad hotel, but room for improvement.
