'Stayed in the 'Dunlin room' Very poor lighting in the corridor. Wallpaper patched up poorly in the corridor by the bedrooms. Noisy extractor fan in our bathroom. Breakfast a little underwhelming, (overdone bacon and chewy sausage. Staff very attentive and polite. No signal on the tv celestial channels on two days. Limited bathroom amenities. Cobwebs on the windows in the breakfast area. '

'Het is een mooi ingericht hotel, maar voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn een uitdaging. Veel op/afstapjes, een douche in een bad en geen lift. Wij vonden het eten matig en duur. De prijs was geen probleem geweest als de kwaliteit prima was. Onze ervaring was dat met name het vlees (veel zenen en taai en bij de roast niet echt warm) geen goede kwaliteit had. Bij reclameren werd het weliswaar opgelost, maar het moet natuurlijk meteen goed gaan. '

'Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too.'

'The hotel was in the ideal location for our purpose.It had its own car park which was convenient. The building looks good from the outside, unfortunately the rooms are out dated and ours was very hot. As it was on the ground floor we did not feel it safe to open the larger windows and the small window did not provide sufficient cooling. We had noisy neighbours both above and next door, this was unlucky and could happen in any hotel.'

'Not recommended, honestly we almost slept in the car. The main issues started on attempting to check in. We arrived late (around 1am) but there was no-one at the hotel that we could see. We then called the 24/7 line around 10 times, most of these times we were hung up on/disconnected prior to getting information. When the night porter did arrive back (after around 1 hour of waiting) check in was relatively quick and then we walked over to the house (note check in is not necessarily at the place...

'Clean and quiet, comfortable bed. Internet didn't work and the TV could only pick up one channel though. '

'Work trip and excellent location. Morrisons on route for supplies and some lovely evening walks. Although some of the footpaths need the nettles trimmed 😉 Struct lucky with the street parking all but one night but the car park behind is very close. Only heard those above very occasionally and I slept very well. Will definitely look to book again. Thank you'

'Room was broken into . Door was not strong - split in half. How dod someone get through security door? I expressed my concerns but no-one bothered to respond. I had asked what they had done about it. Did they even report to police. Then later I locked myself out of room. There is no reception so was asked to go to another hotel to pick up a key. I spent £19 on Uber (return) and didn’t even have shoes, and it was raining. Sheet didn’t fit mattress properly so kept coming off. Trains disturbed...

'Stanbrook Abbey Hotel is amazing in all respects. It’s historical and very attractive set in extensive grounds. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The staff are lovely and very helpful. I only had one meal in the hotel and it was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, it’s great.'

'We thought the breakfast buffet choices were limited, however the cooked breakfast was hot and plentiful. The staff were very efficient. Dinner was most enjoyable in a lovely dining room and the bar service was very good. Upon arrival we were given a room upgrade with a four poster bed, this was a lovely surprise. Parking was onsite without additional charge. If you are planning on walking the Malvern Hills this Hotel is in the perfect location.'
