'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. You must not count on (daily) cleaning and making the bed, because both jobs won't happen. That was a bit disappointing, because we stayed for four nights and had expected that to happen. 'The hotel is very outdated. The amenities in the room and hotel did not match the price of the hotel. The plastic cups in the room were old with holes that leaked out our beverages everywhere. We ate at the steakhouse and ordered our filets medium rare and got medium to well done. I wouldn’t recommend staying the night at this hotel, however the workers were all very nice.'
