Excellent

Lovely accommodation enough room for everyone hot tub and sauna very popular with guests. Pool table was great entertainment. My granddaughter loved collecting the eggs. The kitchen was great especially having two dishwashers with 14 of us .

This is our second stay at The Mill House. It’s absolutely beautiful and completely suited to our family to come together and spend quality time. We had our 1 year old grandson with us and he loved the Play Barn and facilities. Everything is simply fantastic.

Great family birthday venue

Nine family members stayed here age ranging from 7 to 80 for a birthday weekend. The house was perfect. Everyone had an en-suite bedroom so no queuing for showers, lots of space and the play barn was enjoyed by everyone. The youngest enjoyed checking for eggs every day and some of enjoyed the luxury of the hot tub. Robert, the host was friendly and helpful and his recommendation for Sunday lunch was spot on.

Excellent Accommodation

Ideal accommodation for a large family/group holiday. Communications following booking have always been clear and helpful. Accommodation was available when promised and ready for us to arrive and settle in. All facilities far exceed normal accommodation provisions and the owner was contactable and helpful and could not have done anything more.

A SUPER WEEKEND! Perfect for our birthday party.

We had a fantastic time at The Mill House. It was perfect for our child's birthday party. So many wonderful amenities. They loved playing football and the amount on offer in the play-barn was super, not to mention the marvellous hot tub. But a huge thank you must go out to the owners who were amazing. The communication with Robert about our stay and then his kindness when we were there was outstanding and it goes a long way to making the whole event such a great experience. Each room having its own ensuite as perfect and there was so much space downstairs to make everyone happy. We highly recommend and hope to rebook next year.

Family get together

We returned for another family get together. Ages 1 to 80 accommodated. The children love Jimmy’s play barn and the hot tub. The adults love sitting outside chatting, the pool table and the hot tub. We all love the chickens!! This time the weather was hot so we really appreciated the ice & chilled water being on tap and the fans in each bedroom! All bedrooms are so spacious and the beds big and comfortable. We will return again as geographically it is quite central for our families to travel to.

Thursday Girls

This was our second visit of 8 ladies to Mill House, and, once again we had an amazing weekend here, we arrived Friday, all had amazing back massages with Lucy, bus ride into Shrewsbury on Saturday, shopping and food at the House of the Rising Sun, Back on the bus, hot tub, snacks, Sunday, breakfast, a little walk and we made a fantastic Christmas dinner together, with a homemade trifle to follow! It is a perfect house for us all and have rebooked again for next November, the only downside is was the time went too quickly !

4th stay here for annual get together, highly recommended

Great accommodation, all bedrooms ensuite and lots of room for our annual club get together.. Stayed here 4 times now and usually book in conjunction with other cottages on site depending on numbers. Plenty big enough entertaining space to get 20+ in to ear and drink and enjoy the facilities . Hot tub and sauna are added bonuses. The play barn is another great space to utilise. Julie and Betty Lou are easy t deal with and answer any queries. Good walks within a shore distance and a pub not far up the road for an evening meal. Highly recommended and very good value for money for the standard of accommodation.

A family weekend, ages 4months to 99

We had both the MillHouse and Granary, for 12 adults and 5 children, aged 6-15, and a babe. The facilities, and accomadation particularly in the MillHouse were excellent. The play barn and badminton court a real bonus.the children were all easily occupied. The weather was fantastic for nov/Dec...cold but dry. We spent a few hours on Saturday following a www.treasuretrail.co.uk, based on Darwins link to Shrewsbury......we split into groups of 4 each with a booklet, and everyone agreed it was a brilliant way of getting to see Shrewsbury. There was definite talk of a repeat visit to this complex.

What more do you need?

We spent a week in the Mill House with our children and grandchildren, it was perfect. It is hard to work out what you would need to make a more perfect week. The house is immaculate and has oodles of space. The bedrooms are well sized and all have en-suite facilities. The play barn and the barn with the climbing frame provided everything that was needed to keep the children, aged from 2 to 18, amused either in the ball pit or on the pool table. We were blessed with good weather but in truth we were all just as happy chilling around the property and using the facilities that were on offer. For a group of 14 like ours I suspect you would struggle to find a property that was of equal quality and that came equipped with such great additional facilities. A great week.

Amazing

We met up with family here for a birthday celebration for 3 nights. We honestly had the best time. The house is equipped with everything you need whilst staying in the house. We were greeted with a friendly face and was very helpful with an item we had forgotten to bring. The house is so well thought out. It caters for all ages. I love the fact it is disability accessible with a downstairs room with a wet room and even a rise and recline chair in the living room. The house is clean and very well presented. We would love to return!

Amazing play barn

Stayed at mill house for the weekend with a mix of adults and kids and loved every minute of it. House is very spacious and has everything you need. The play barn for us was the highlight. A good variety of things in there for all ages particularly for my toddler daughter who was obsessed with the soft play. The honesty shop was helpful when we had forgotten a few bits. A few minor points that could be improved, one dishwasher broken and the other had broken racks inside, only one pool cue that worked, and some of the doors were sticking but none of this impacted our stay. Hope we can get back one day

Lovely spacious and well maintained cottage

Had a great time at Mill house cottages. Our second stay and enjoyed it. Cottage was easy to find, parking was good. Cottage was clean. All furniture was good quality. Hot tub and sauna were good. We used badminton court a fair bit.

The best stay

We have been coming to stay here for about 6 years. There are between 15 and 19 and we stay in two cottages. They are clean and comfortable and well equipped. We have done many walk from here and really enjoyed the countryside. The addition of a hot tub is the icing on the cake. Having a sports hall and games room means these cottages are ideal for all ages. We thoroughly recommend staying here.

A Lovely Place to be

This was our first holiday together as a whole family of 12 from 3 generations, and the location and facilities were perfect for everyone. All ages were catered for, and the hot-tub, pool table and games room were all well-used! There is so much to explore locally, and the scenery is beautiful. Thank you!
