'Staff was so friendly and kind. Room was absolutely beautiful. My only complaint for a not 5 star was that there were slightly large bugs in our room, not on the bed but on the floor, I’m only assuming since it’s dark with the solar lighting. Other than that this place was absolutely stunning and I will be returning!'

'The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street. The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected. The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles. I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option...

'The listing was deluxe king suite with a bedroom, kitchen and dining area that slept 5. I walked Into one room, one bed and a giant hot tub in the middle of the room. Not the listing i booked At all. Whole hotel smells like weed. People live in the hotel so there’s belongings and people standing and being all around the building all night long. The fire department was called due to someone smoking in their room. Overall i dont Think I’d book here again.'

'Very expensive hotel, yet they still charge extra for Wi-Fi and breakfast. When you’re paying more than $300 per night, those amenities should be included. It feels like unnecessary nickel-and-diming and takes away from the overall experience. In the final bill I was given they included room charges that I never used.'

'Went to the D to see the Tigers beat the Yankees! Had a great stay at the anthenium with two other couples! This is my go to hotel when visiting Detroit! Everything about this hotel is 1st Class!'

'The smoking area is in the parking lot at the entrance where traffic is going in and out while the bar has an enclosed outside area that has plenty of space for people to smoke while they have cocktails and it's guarded by a perimeter to protect you from the incoming and outgoing traffic.'
