'This truly checked all of the boxes for me and my family! From previous cabin rentals, I have a tendency to overpack…there was absolutely nothing I needed here except for food and clothes. The place was spotless and garbage was taken care of immediately. Bonus points for meeting the wonderful neighbors, Barb and Mark! 'The Quiet Cottage, also known as Stolhammer Hus, is the perfect base to explore the Mesabi Bike Trail and the Range. The house is very clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Great screened in porch, as well as a deck that has you sitting in the woods. The host is great, very accessible and helpful with local recommendations. I would highly recommend the Quiet Cottage in the Woods!'

'What a lovely little apartment! Very unassuming outside, but tons of mid century modern charm inside! We loved the blue glass collection and the original bathroom fixtures. If you arrive after dark, walk carefully in the parking lot, it's a bit uneven. '

'The apartment was clean and met our needs for the trip. We appreciated the ability to bring our mountain bikes in. There were improvements being made to the exterior of the building even while we were there. We appreciated the water and soda in the refrigerator and enjoyed the Keurig coffeemaker. Thanks for a great stay!'

'The property is very nice, very clean, very quiet and pleasant. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and pots and pans. The bed is comfortable, and the view from the kitchen table looking out over the lake is beautiful. We hate to leave!'

'Very nice house, clean, and easy with nice backyard and lots of room and amenities! Everything was just as represented by the owner. Such a nice house with a great setup. Cook is an awesome small community! Wonderful breakfast and lunch options at coffee shop downtown. Cool theater which we have went to before but it was closed when we were in town. Clean grocery store. Moosebirds ice cream up the road! What could be better?!? '

'The Lazy Pines Hideaway was absolutely perfect for our family’s last summer getaway! 'We loved EVERYTHING about this property! It was quiet and secluded. The house was fantastic. It was clean and roomy. The kitchen/bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we needed. The game room was a HUGE hit for all the kids. The lake lot acess was also a favorite for the kids and adults! Kayaks and paddle boats were put to good use. We had a few first timers for fishing, (we used the fishing rods provided, and bought some crawlers for bait) and the lake didnt disappoint. We caught sun...
