We've had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Clean, spacy rooms with everything you might expect.
The Lotus Resort & Spa is rated at 3,5 stars. If they would offer a decent breakfast buffet instead of the a la carte breakfast than, for me, this hotel deservers 4 stars.
The pool is large (approx. 10 x 20m) with a poolside bar and clean extra towels. The gym is equipped with simple but decently functioning training equipment.
The hotel however is not really located in the center. It would take you a 3km walk (most part along a busy main road) towards the area where the evening-/nightlife is. Going downtown by TucTuc would cost you about 3 us dollars one way.
The direct neighbourhood is filled with other big hotels and a occassional office building and restaurant, not particulary interesting.
The airport and the Angkor Wat site are both a 10 minutes car ride away.
Finally a word about the staff, they are very, very friendly and helpfull. An example to other hotels. Specially in the 3 star range.
