Beautiful, spacious 2.5-room top floor apartment (2nd floor). With 72 m2 it can comfortably accommodate 4 people. Quietly located with views of the Inn plain and the mountains towards Piz Lagrev and Piz Polaschin.

The cozy living room with wooden wall-panelling has a sofa, two easy chairs and a fireplace. The apartment offers free Wi-Fi and cable TV. The dining room has a Swiss stone pine table with corner bench and chairs. The bedroom has two beds with two single mattresses and a Swiss stone pine cabinet. The open gallery above the living room is accessible by internal staircase and is equipped with two beds with two individual mattresses and a Swiss stone pine wood cabinet.

The separate kitchen was completely renovated in 2020 in a modern Alpine style with Engadine larch wood and serpentine stone from the Puschlav. It is equipped with a refrigerator with a large freezer compartment, an induction cooker, baking oven, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher.

The bathroom was completely renovated in 2022 and has a bathtub with shower, toilet, and washbasin. Blue glass mosaik walls, high quality installations, mountain view from the bathtub: a mini-wellness oasis.

In the entrance area there are coat racks and a cabinet with vacuum cleaner. Floorings: entrance area, kitchen, bathroom: tiles; living and dining area, bedroom: oak; gallery: wood. Included in the rental are the use of the sauna, the ski and bicycle storage room as well as of the underground parking space no. 334; this is connected to the house by an underground passage. Pets are not allowed.

The Chesa Chüderun is located on the edge of the residential area of Seglias in Sils Maria, close to hiking trails, cross-country trails, bus station and a grocery store (Volg).

What mountains. What lakes. What light! Whether on the 580km (360 miles) of hiking paths strewn over all the mountains or by mountain bike along 400km (250 miles) of fabulous trails: the Upper Engadin offers a superb network of paths and trails amidst an unspoilt Alpine landscape and the inspiring lake plateau. Four flow trails on the Corviglia guarantee a perfect flow. Equally popular among sports enthusiasts are the Upper Engadin lakes; kiting, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddling – the possibilities are virtually endless. The expanse of the inspiring high-lying valley can be experienced in a particularly striking way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And besides the wide range of sporting options, visitors can take advantage of the first-class cultural activities on offer, such as a visit to a museum or to one of the numerous art galleries in the various villages.  


In winter, the ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and family friendly Zuoz invite ski and snowboard enthusiasts to revel in 350 kilometres (218 miles) of the finest powder snow. Cross-country skiers will find over 220km (137 miles) of perfectly groomed trails in the Upper Engadin and the side valleys. The winter hiking paths and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes are characterised by their light, sunshine and space amidst inspiring Alpine scenery. Those who would like to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can explore the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever on 150 kilometres (90 miles) of winter hiking paths. Visitors who prefer to have everything in view, meanwhile, will delight in the breathtaking vistas on the panorama hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.  


Families can bask in the Engadin sun during a ride in a horse-drawn carriage into the Val Roseg or Val Fex, or race down the mountainside into the valley on the winding, 4.2km (2.6 mile) long toboggan run on Muottas Muragl.

Location description: Sils – an enrichment for the body, mind and soul
Sils is a place overflowing with life energy; this can actually be scientifically measured. But why bother when you are anyway guaranteed to fall under the spell of the landscape at first sight?
Writers such as Nietzsche, artists like Beuys, and musicians such as David Bowie drew inspiration from the wonderful open spaces and the magical light here, and each played a considerable role in establishing Sils as the cultural centre of the Engadin. These days – with good reason and not without a sense of pride – both local inhabitants and guests from all over the world describe Sils as a place abounding in life force and natural earth energy. For particularly high values on the Bovis scale – the life force index – have been measured here. Nestling idyllically between Lake Sils and Lake Silvaplana, the village lies at the gateway to the romantic Fex Valley and is the perfect starting point for walks through this wide open, light-flooded valley. In winter, the best way to explore the valley is by taking a ride in a horse-drawn sleigh.
Those for whom the sky’s the limit will find a variety of routes for hiking and mountain-biking tours on Sil’s home mountain, the Furtschellas. Moreover, a trip on Lake Sils on board Europe’s highest-altitude scheduled cruise boat provides particularly spectacular views of the beautiful Alpine scenery.
However, Sils is also the perfect departure point for winter hikes and cross-country ski tours through the wide expanse of the frozen lakes, which trustingly huddle around the Furtschellas. From the Furtschellas, you can get higher still in no time at all – on the Corvatsch, home to the highest summit station in the Eastern Alps (3303m/10,836ft). And from here, 120 kilometres (75 miles) of challenging pistes lead back down into the valley.
