'Hotel is heel goed gelegen, zeker als je een duiker bent. Op wandel afstand van de betere duikcentra in Naama bay en 100 meter van Naama bay jetty. Licht verouderd maar aangezien het tourisme op laag pitje staat in Egypte is de staat van het hotel zeker ok. Het personeel doet alles wat je wil en heeft altijd een glimlach. We kregen een upgrade van een garden view kamer naar zicht op zee.

One downside of the room is the isolation of the sliding doors. There are lots of places in the vicinity which play loud music. This music is noticeably hearable in the room. During the week the music is mostly played from around 20:00 and 22:30/23:00, but during the weekend it can go on until quite late. It can be quite an annuisance. I luckily had sleeping pills with which I was able to go to sleep.
A positive side of Oonas is its location which is at the beginning of the boulevard. The boulevard has lots of stores and restaurants and it leads to the center of Nama Bay.
I bought a 5 day diving package at Oonas as well. The dives were perfectly arranged and well lead by different dive masters/instructors.
We went to different locations each day. The dive master/instructor took good care of all the individual divers.

The only thing was the status of the rooms. The beds need some renovations. What I found pity was the gym and soa. I was quite disappointed that the gym was under construction and i was not informed before booking. Further, spa is not included. You can use it only if you pay for treatment. Even treatments are very limited. On the website they didn't mention that they have no indoor pool."
