Tolles Hotel mit guter MRT-Anbindung
Ein schönes Boutique Hotel im Herzen von Chinatown. Die Anbindung ist super, 4 MRT-Linien in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr klein aber nichts, das online nicht vorab zu erkennen war. Der Platz ist optimal genutzt. Für eine Person war das Zimmer perfekt, für zwei Personen wäre es mir zu klein gewesen (was genau meinem Eindruck aufgrund der Bilder entsprochen hat). Würde es immer wieder buchen!

정말 최악입니다
너무 최악의 호텔입니다. 주니어스위트인데 방문을 열자마자 곰팡이냄새가 심하게 났도, 에어커을 올려다보니 너무나 지저분한 에어컨상태와 너무 비좁은실내는 환기가 안돼서 문을 열어놓고 잇을 수 밖에 없었습니다.객실상태가 지저분한 정도는 아니지만 호텔상태는 4성급이라 흐기엔 2성급도 안되는듯 보입니다 많은 여행객들이 객실에 있지 못하고 더운 날씨에도 계속 안뜰에 나와 있는 이유를 알거 같네요 2박예약했으나 1박은 새벽에 도착해 호텔을 옮기기 어려워 어쩔 수 없이 버텼지만 다음날 바로 다른 호텔로 옮길 수 밖에 없었습니다

If visiting Singaporey this hotel in the Maxwell area. Its walking distance to Maxwell station and Chinatown station. There are plenty of hawker stalls and restauhe hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but don't worry. That are comfortable and clean.

Honest review of hotel during our stay
If you are looking for a never ending Friday and Saturday night with a club right across the street that closes at 3am, then this is a nice place to stay right after a crazy night of fun. However, if you are looking for night of rest and refreshment, and an early itinerary the next morning, I strongly recommend you to reconsider your stay in this area. There is a night club right across the street which blasts music until 3am, there is no way you can fall asleep unless you have ear plugs. Also, unless you are travelling to Singapore with 1 hand carry or a small bag, there is no way you can have 2 standard sized checked baggage opened in the room. Moreover, there was no staff attended at front desk when we were checking out at in the morning.

I stayed for 5nights I paid for an upgrade to a loft room as my first room had no window. Subsequently, my room was not cleaned for 3 nights in a row. I had to call down to someone sent to change towels. Queen bed was actually two single mattresses put together, there is a big gap in the middle.

The room was poorly designed and inconvenient. The lights didn't all work, so without a window it was perpetually dark. The shower tiles were coated with some kind of mould or rust.

Awful stay. No bedding in room and a filthy mattress to sleep on. Made multiple calls to reception and emtpy promises to send a blanket. No blanket arrived. Calls started to get hung up so I had to get dressed and go downstairs to verbally complain. Finally got a blanket at 7AM having spending most of the night shivering and trying to stay comfortable using the towels as covers. The AC unit also squealed all night with a high pitch whine. Needless to say I left exhausted and disgusted. Would NOT recommend

Friendly Staff but BAD hotel layout.
Service was great and the staff was super helpful and friendly (except for the receptionist during the evening). Ive stayed in the loft and honestly the stairs is not really safe. Ive slipped and fell on my last day unfortunately. Ive injured myself in that event with bruises and abrasion, at both my arms and back. The toilets also was badly positioned especially the toilet bowl seating arrangement.

I was quite disappointed with the outdoor bathtub. It was the only reason why I wanted to staycation with this hotel. But the outdoor bathtub is not private. I dont feel safe when I used it. Not worth the money. Check in at 3pm check out at 11am. I wont go here again for the price that I am paying

Due to our hotel building being a Conserved Shophouse and subject to URA’s construction guidelines, we have limitations as to the configuration of the outdoor tub. We have also put up signages at the outdoor tub area to caution guests regarding privacy concerns. We would like to assure you of your privacy when utilise get the outdoor tub. There are opaque sheets put in between the metal partitions, thereby blocking visibility from the adjacent outdoor suite bathtub. We hope that the rooms were comfortable for you, and you had a good stay with us. Do keep safe during such unprecedented times. We hope to see you again.

Location is my only highlight.
I just planned this staycation for the sole purpose of the bathtub advertised in photos. Each room is different and mine was not the one advertised. No lovely green space. The tub was nice but just a tiny corner with a small barrier to next rooms tub. The couple next door were playing music in their tub. Zero privacy. The hotel is in a fabulous area. Zero complaints on that. Room was very small. Light under bed doesn’t turn off. The cleanliness of bathroom was not great. Mildew around soap dispenser. Needed a thorough cleaning. I was told there was water in room, but had to go down to ask for it. Shampoo was empty. Bed was okay but Aircon right over your head. No way to escape. Free drinks but only barley and very local options.

TERRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE SMALL ROOM - Paid for room upgrade with bath tub - Hotel check-in staff (Iswaran) was new and rude at check-in, refusing to let us check in early even though the room was ready and it was raining heavily outside - Eventually he let us have the room 30mins beforehand but gave us the room card while he was on the phone and as such we were not informed about the check out time was at 11am - At 11am the next day we were asked to check out to our surprise as most hotels check out time is at 12noon - We told him we had just returned from buying brunch and needed to eat in the room as there was no dining out available before being able to check out. He said ok - But when we checked out at 12+, staff Iswaran proceeded to charge us $17.66 for 1 hour late check out without being authorised to do so - I called the hotel on 9 July 2021 to inform about unauthorised charge but again he was very rude and refused to waive off the charge. - Service was definitely super poor and destroyed our boutique hotel experience. - The room itself is also very dark and dim - It had rained outdoors and no one came to keep nor dry t the cushions and sofa, I had to do it myself. - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WILL NOT COME AGAIN. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We have investigated the matter, and have come to find several things: We understand that you arrived at 12 noon on the day of checkin, and our staff Iswaran had done the pre-registration and stored your luggages whilst you and your partner went out for lunch. Upon your return, we provided complimentary early check in at 12.48pm and the key was delivered to you and room check-in (and check-out timing) procedures were explained. You had acknowledged them, and this account has been confirmed via CCTV as well. On the next day, our staff Iswaran had done the follow up for check-out rooms. You mentioned that you will check out by 11.30am. Thereafter, our staff informed you that there will be a charge at $15++ per hour. We got your confirmation for late check out, and you checked out at 12.45pm. Your partner came down and handed over the room key card, and our staff proceeded to inform you of your late check out charges. He mentioned to charge to the credit card which been taken for deposit upon check-in. As for the lighting in the room, it is meant to fit a soothing cosy lifestyle. We seek your understanding for the cushions and furniture that they are meant to be exposed outdoor per conservation guidelines, and we strive to maintain the rustic character. We hope the reply and detailed account of the incident is satisfactory for you, and do keep well.

Despite the small room size, I liked how everything you need could be found nicely tucked in some corner of the room. There were also great number of power outlets every where. However, it was disappointing to find the room really dusty in many areas. I had to change room mid-stay and both rooms had quite a bit of dust.

Reality behind beautiful photos online
Room is in good visual condition when i viewed online, but staying in it there are countless dirty spots (eg hairs under the bed mat, stain on the toilet floor, dusty smell of the blanket, etc.). Would visit again and would like to tell anyone who wants to try: view my comments and think again.

False advertisement of "Suite with tub". Room we gotten come without windows and totally a different one with advertised. The room shouldn't be charge with this kind of rate if there's no window and the given size. The tub area is not private too, with see thru mesh with next door.

Extremely tiny space
Hotel Soloha is situated next to the bustling Keong Saik Road enclave, with all the excellent bars and restaurants a short walk away. Hotel room is chic and colourful but it is extremely tiny. TINY. There isn’t any room to walk in the hotel nor any place to hang your clothes. There isn’t any space to put your chargers, toiletries and baggage. It’s probably ok if you are just here for a very short stay (1 night or a few hours).
