Disappointing, poor communication and service
The property is disappointing, we stayed for a birthday. The birthday was highlighted via email prior to arrival, and while we tried to arrange something special to be placed in the room prior to arrival this went ignored despite being charged for extra amenities. On arrival (the day of the birthday), despite supplying our IC and CC, the birthday went overlooked (Its on the IC!) and to make things worse the receptionist attempted to check us into someone else's reservation, as such we were given ALL of their information (PDPA Violation). The couples details were EU/SG, same as us. Racial profiling? No empathy or apology. No room orientation several features were not easy to use, the room was dirty (smears in the shower, debris on the floor throughout the room, etc.) F&B options are poor, quality of food tastes frozen and premade. Service is extremely slow, no anticipation offered why sit families with crying babies right next to couples. Zero tact when upselling. Order from Panamericana. The culturalist mentioned the hotel was full, she made us feel like we were pestering her. The activities program had not been expanded to accommodate COVID or Occupancy. I understand we have restrictions due to COVID, no effort had been made to offer guests a 5* experience. It can not be because they are short-staffed, breakfast had a crew of over 12 for 30(?) tables Yet another poor corporate chain pretending to be 5*. Wait until borders open and go to Maldives, Dubai, or Phuket.

Wonderful staycation at Capella. Credit goes to the warm and personable staff who made this an unforgettable experience - from the attentive and unhurried check-in process by Chai, the birthday cake, cards and balloons, the surprise villa upgrade by Agnes, the sustainable art program for our kids by Mitra, Cheryl and Nurul, the delicious brunch at the Knolls, dim sum at Cassia.... I think a lot of care and thought had gone into creating the best possible experience for their guests. This is one of the best hotels in the world. We're already making plans to return!

The Capella Hotel is really one of the best in Singapore. Impressive property. Excellent service despite the pandemic. Impressive dining experience. And the very helpful Whatsapp concierge which is super handy. Highly appreciate the friendly staff. Excellent stay. Will come back.

최고의 호텔! 친절한 스태프들과 편안한 시설로 즐거운 시간을 보내고 왔습니다! 특히 수영장이 시설도 좋고 스태프들이 프렌들리하고 좋았어요. 조식 레스토랑 음식은 무난하고 정갈했고, 매니저급의 스태프가 테이블 하나 하나 필요한 것을 묻고 챙기는 모습이 인상적이었습니다. 한국인 스태프들도 많아서 편안했고요. 싱가폴에 대해 좋은 인상이 남았어요. 원베드룸풀빌라에 데이베드를 엑스트라베드처럼 만들어줘서(무료) 세 식구가 편하게 지내다 왔습니다

Capella - an unforgettable experience
Capella is a physically magnificent colonial building, located in beautiful Sentosa. The hotel is surrounded by wonderful greenery and soothing to be in. The room is equally pleasing. Really enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

パラワンビーチに近くゆったりと過ごせる素晴らしい環境です。スタッフの対応も行き届いていました。個人的にはキッチンや洗濯機、大きな冷蔵庫を重宝しました。 ゆったりとしたステイを希望される方にはオススメのホテルです。

가격에 비해 가정집 구조, 시설 이용이 불편
다들 그렇겠지만 센토사섬에 대한 환상으로 예약한 호텔. 왠만한 MBS 근처 리버뷰 호텔들보다 비싸거나 비등한 가격임에도 불구하고 센토사에 위치했다는 것 외에 크게 장점을 찾기는 힘들었습니다. 거실이 굉장히 가정집 스러워 호텔에 기대할 만한 럭셔리함은 많이 느껴지지 않습니다. 그리고 부대시설 (수영장, 스파) 등을 이용하기 위해 반드시 카트를 불러야 합니다. 카운터를 비롯하여 숙소와 건물이 떨어져있기 때문에 카트를 부르지 않는다면 꽤 부담스러운 걸음을 해야합니다. 게다가 낮은 층을 배정받는다면 엘레베이터가 없는 불편함을 계속해서 감수해야 합니다.

The staff was overall great! However , the residence ‘s check in is at the Capella main lobby . We were directed to the wrong place towards the residence compound and couldn’t find the check in reception counter . It took us 15 minutes and driving up and down to find the right place to check in as there were no signage around to guide us .

Location is very private great for couples who want a getaway, I didnt really liked the idea of climbing the stairs for 3 stories down to reach my unit. Room was not as nice as I would expect. But overall, Capella provides great service, especially the poolside staffs were extremely warm and welcoming. Everything from the fridge was free flow, great point as the way out to vivocity is quite a far one!

Just. Fantastic.
There was a little hiccup during check-in, and the Manager (I think), John, offered to upgrade us from a one-bedroom suite to a three-bedroom suite. Initially, we were hesitant to accept the offer as it was not what we had booked for. John and his colleague, Julienna, were nice enough to tell us that they would be able change rooms for us if we were not comfortable. We were really amazed by the sheer size of the room, and decided to stay on. The room was comfortable and large, and that gave the three of us space to relax and do our own things in our own spaces. I particularly liked the Bose sound system. A few days before arrival, our PA, Ms. Yoshie, emailed me to ask if I had any special requests. She was very prompt in her responses. Upon knowing that we had a little unpleasant experience at check-in, she offered us complementary breakfast at The Knolls, which we really appreciated. She was prompt and polite in all her responses, and the best thing was that we got to meet her in person. The hotel grounds is very well-maintained and the proximity to Palawan Beach means our whole family could go for our morning and night walks/jogs. Lots of greenery on the grounds helps us relax. We loved that our suite faces lots of greenery. For more than a decade, we would spend at least one of our holidays each year at another resort at the other end of Sentosa, but after the stay at Capella, my husband has decided THIS will be our designated family "retreat" venue from now on.

Excellent Experience All Around
We had a wonderful stay at The Club Residences at Capella. I was there for a conference, and my wife and son accompanied me. From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out, the service was impeccable. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. I'd especially like to thank Peggy Koh, Assistant Manager of Personal Assistants, for taking such good care of us. We had booked a one bedroom residence and Peggy, seeing that there were 3 of us, kindly upgraded us to a 2 bedroom. Peggy also spent a good deal of time with my wife, recommending places to go, things to see, restaurants and so on, plus advising on transportation options. She was very helpful throughout our stay, and we are so glad to have met her upon our arrival. The room was quite spacious and well-appointed, with a nice garden view. It was just a few minutes walk from the main hotel (we preferred to walk, but there are also buggies on call). The beach is also only a few minutes walk down the hill. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! The only downside I can see is that the resort is a bit away from the city center, but that worked out fine for us. There is a free shuttle van from the hotel to the Vivo City mall, where you can catch the MRT to take you all over Singapore. I've traveled all over the world for the past 30+ years, and I have to say that our stay at Capella was one of the most memorable.

Amazing resort with fantastic service. The restaurant facilities do have a little way to go in terms if there overall food delivery service but the hotel staff were fantastic. Definitely felt at peace during our stay

Great hotel to stay in if you want an quiet getaway. Not suitable for family with toddler as it is quite a distance to attractions. Although they have a toddler menu, the meals are pathetic.

Great hotel and great service
We expended in Capella Sentosa one full week. It was a great experience. The facilities are very well cared and the atmosphere quite relaxing. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. The size of the rooms is big. It had two bathrooms what is quite convenient when travelling with the family. The apartment was serviced twice a day and every day they provided some ammenities such as cookies or fruit. The rest of the facilities are also impressive; the hotel has three big pools, two restaurants (we went to The Knolls for dinner and it was a very good one) and a bar, very well served with cocktails, beers, liquors, just over the two main pools. The staff was extremely kind and eager to satisfy our needs. They have as well a free shuttle service to go from the hotel and back to Resorts World and ViVo city with services every 30 minutes. As a summary, a very good choice that we would be more than happy to repeat.

Check out took too long. Call for buggy , waited more than half and hour so decided to walk to main lobby. Check out process also took very long at main lobby.

The only downside is that we found a centipede in the bath tub one morning and proceeded to flush it down the drainhole (city people are not used to visits from arthropods). The flooring can also be a bit cleaner and the we understand the property is a bit old, therefore the brown stains along the sides of the sinks. Service impeccable and property is beautiful and relaxing. They also provided a cot with baby bath products complimentary. Would definitely return!

Plus: Had a wonderful dinner at Bob's bar and a fantastic breakfast at the knolls, FnB director Dennis made our family felt very welcome and service staff was prompt, cheerful and professional. Minus: No indication during the non-refundable booking at your website that there is no lift access for all one bedroom apartments, feedback to guest relations during check out and received an unprofessional reply of we did informed you A DAY earlier prior your check in. Asked for luggage assistance thru guest relations officer thru the phone but no one showed up after half hr, decided to take the luggages up from 3 storeys of stairs. Not a pleasant experience in that regards.

I usually have only good things to say about Capella, but this time is a major disappointment! The hotel is getting old, really needs a serious renovation, a lot of items such as bathtub or shower are not in good condition! Hot water was weak and even ran out during my shower!
