De Cotter Cottage is een perfecte vakantiewoning voor diegenen die op loopafstand van alle actie van het centrum van Sister Bay willen zijn. Een wandeling van 5 minuten brengt u naar het openbare strand, het Zweedse restaurant van Al Johnson, Wild Tomato, Sister Bay Bowl, Husby's en al uw andere favoriete Sister Bay-locaties. Het huisje is geweldig voor een alleenstaande familie die ruimte wil hebben om te spreiden of voor drie gezinnen die een huur willen splitsen om te besparen op hotelkosten en alle voorzieningen van een huis hebben.

Het huisje heeft 3 slaapkamers met queensize bedden (twee met aangrenzende badkamers) en 3 badkamers. Daarnaast is er een grote 'stapelbed kamer' met 3 volledige meer dan volledige stapelbedden en een full size futon. Het huisje heeft een goed gevulde keuken, een eettafel met plaats voor 10 personen met een extra aangrenzende eethoek met plaats voor 4 personen, toegang wasmachine en droger, een grote woonkamer met een 55-inch flatscreen-tv en rechtstreekse tv-toegang / WiFi. Er is een extra zithoek naast de eettafel met een kleinere tv met directe tv en een tv in de stapelbedkamer met een Xbox 360.

Voor degenen onder u die uw boten en golflopers meenemen, ligt het huis naast de parkeerplaats voor het lanceren van een boot. De oprit is groot genoeg om een ​​boot / trailer naast meerdere auto's op te slaan. Het huis ligt ook op 3 minuten lopen van de jachthaven om een ​​boot te huren bij Sister Bay Boat Rental.

Great location near downtown Sister Bay with lots of room

This property is in a great location. It's in walking distance of downtown Sister Bay and the lake. Exceptionally stocked with paper products, kitchen/cooking needs, towels, and bedding. Plenty of dining and living room seating, along with many beds, make it excellent for a bigger group. There were 8 adults in our group, and we felt like we had enough room to relax and be comfortable. The three full bathrooms were perfect for our larger group. Just be aware that the two bathrooms, that are within the bedrooms, are quite small. Overall we had an awesome stay and the owner was very quick to answer the few questions we had.

Great location, close to everything Sister Bay has to offer!

We visited the area with our adult children and grandchildren - this house was perfect for us! The location is great - quiet, but yet within an easy walk to everything Sister Bay has to offer. Owner was very responsive to communication House was well equipped with household items to eat-in or cook-out. It would have been nice to have some cabinet space to put our food items in, but not a deal-breaker. We didn't use the gas grill, but did enjoy sitting around the firepit. Beds were very comfortable. 2 bedrooms have attached bathrooms that are pretty small, but the rest of the home is spacious. The large dining table was great as well. Definitely recommend this VRBO and would stay again!

PERFECT!!

The location of this house was great, we were within walking of Main street Sister Bay. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean, the floors may not have been cleaned/mopped prior to our visit. Upon arrival, we had trouble opening the key lockbox, but called the owner, Brandon, and he returned our call right away and gave us instructions. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the house as we were out exploring Door County, but it met all our needs. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a basic house that was is in a good location and affordable. And the host was very responsive.

This is an excellent location and would be great for a big family or multiple families. Lots of sleeping options, lots of gathering spaces, well stocked kitchen, great fire pit area outside. Plenty of room for our 3 families to spread out and enjoy our annual week together. Biking to the beach and playground was a daily hit with the little ones and walkability to food and bar favorites was a hit with the grown ups! The Cotter cottage was everything we needed and more! It was the perfect size for our girls trip to celebrate our beautiful bride! The location was perfect, easy walk to town but tucked away for it to feel secluded and has a nice size private yard with ample parking. Brandon is a great host and was easy to work with and commune with. We will definitely be back but maybe next time with our family.

Cotter Cottage Stupendous Experience

I enjoyed staying at the Cotter Cottage with my 2 girl friend's!! The house is walking distance from town so it was very conventent to walk to the restaurants & the beach. The house is big with plenty comfortable accommidating places to sleep. The beds that we used were very comfortable! The house was very clean and had a lot of additional items to utilize for guests, like a cooler, and a wagon for kids or to carry items to the beach. It is perfect for a large family gathering with small children. Yet, it definitely worked for us because it was so close to town & all 3 of us had our own bathrooms which was really nice. Brandon the owner was very informative & let me know of any issues that arouse prior to my stay & solved them very quickly. There was a very detailed information packet about what is expected from guess who stay at the cottage which was very helpful! It should be understood that everyone should be respectful of the property they rent as it is someone's charist home that they are gracious allowing people they don't know stay at the property. I would definitely rent this house again!!

Fantastic Stay

We enjoyed a long weekend with friends and family (6 total) to decompress and have some Door County fun. The house is larger than the pictures show. We ran into a shower head issue the first morning in the main bathroom. No flow at all. I contacted Brandon and he immediately replied. I volunteered to purchase a new shower head and we installed it quickly. Brandon reimbursed me immediately via Zelle....fantastic response! The only odd thing we encountered was that we had to place the fitted and regular sheets on the beds. It wasn't a big deal to me, just the first time I have encountered this at a rental home. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. Thanks Cotter family for allowing the use of your home!

Loved the house!

My friends and I stayed at the Cotter Cottage in Sister Bay and we LOVED the house! You are basically in downtown Sister Bay, within walking distance of the marina and restaurants. The location is perfect. We’ve stayed in plenty of rented homes in Door County and this is our favorite place so far. The house is huge! Roomy kitchen, plenty of room in the downstairs living room to have a movie night, and the bedrooms were near each other but still private (besides the bunk bedroom located on the other side of the house.) There are neighbors close by but the house is secluded by trees. We enjoyed using the firepit on a chilly fall night. The owners, Brandon and Maria, are very quick to reply to any messages while staying at the home, they are wonderful hosts - and we hope to be back next year!
