• Parking is ONLY allowed in the driveway (maximum of 4 cars in the driveway)
• NO parking on the streets around the property per city rules.
• No parking in the garage or on the grass
• Violations to parking rules can result in fines for guests and host and jeopardize our ability to rent our home.
• As with all rules, breaking parking rules can result in up to immediate eviction with no refund. Under no conditions can these parking rules be violated.
• If you cannot guarantee that all guests can abide by these parking rules please do not book.

------Garbage------
• Garbage bins are outside of the garage. We have garbage service that will come and pick up garbage at the house on Tuesdays.
• Garbage cannot overflow. If items do not fit, please leave for the next pick-up.

• Quiet hours of 10pm to 10am
• Fireworks and firearms are always prohibited
• No fires allowed outside of backyard firepit, please keep fires manageable and only use firewood in firepit.
• Pets must always be leashed, and pet owners must adhere to minimum pet noise
• No illegal activity is permitted on the property
• No campers or boats allowed on the property
• All guests and visitors of guests must follow all of these rules
• Renter is responsible for missing or damaged items

Exceeded all expectations

Everything about the rental process and our stay went great. The house was beautiful inside, well-furnished and very accommodating for our large group. The house was spotless, bedrooms had extra pillows, bathrooms complete with the needed toiletries, and the kitchen/pantry stocked with needed utensils, cookware, and dishes. We never had a problem or complaint from anyone. Our group had so much fun we are returning next year only this time for three nights instead of two. BTW, Caley and Mark, the owners were great to work with. Very responsive to questions, and genuinely concerned about making our trip the best. Highly recommend.

Sister-in-law Getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. We found it to be well stocked, very clean and fulfilled all of our needs. The only suggestion that I would make and it is a very picky request, is that it would be helpful to have a mirror with good lighting in each bedroom. Since there are only two small bathrooms, guests could then do their makeup and hair in the bedroom freeing up the bathroom for the rest of the guests. We had a great time exploring Door County and would definitely stay at this property again.

A Sister Bay Gem!

Scandia was absolutely perfect for our party of 8 people ages 7 to 82. The house was beautifully decorated and perfectly stocked with everything we needed and then some. The fire pit was awesome, the couch was so comfortable I was flipping up the cushions to see where it was from! And it was dog friendly! What more could you ask for? How about LOCATION. We absolutely loved strolling down the street and being in the heart of Sister Bay. We walked down in the evening for a sunset swim and early in the morning to get coffee and pastries at analog. One afternoon we walked over and rented jet skis. And we had the most fabulous dinner at Waterfront (also walking distance). This was one of our favorite places we've ever stayed!

Great time in Sister Bay

The house was really great!! We would definitely recommend it. The only thing we would change are the bathrooms……Very tiny. Also, the back bedroom is really warm/stuffy. Other than that, it was all fabulous and all other aspects of the house were perfect. Living/kitchen/family room were especially great. Great yard.

Home away from home

Scandia Retreat was cozy and relaxing and had all the things you would want in a home away from home. It was one level which was accessible for my 94-year old father-in-law. We loved it because it was quiet, we had the cooking utensils to make home cooked meals, we enjoyed s’mores in the fire pit, we enjoyed watching movies, our dogs loved the backyard and location was close to the marina. This was our first time to the Door County area and we are already talking about coming back!
