Pefkoi village 7km 10mins, is located between the mountains of Eastern Crete and at a distance of only seven kilometers from Makri Gialos, and is one of the most beautiful villages on this side of the island. The village maintains unchanged the traditional, mountainous atmosphere, while at the same time making sure to give its visitor the unique feeling of Cretan hospitality, a feeling that is ideally combined with the countless natural beauties of the area. Access to the village of approximately 1000 meters of altitude is carried out from Makri Gialos via a road that offers a magnificent view to the East, it can also take place from Agios Stefanos. Finally, during your stay in the village, it is worth visiting its Folklore Museum, the "Nerotribi" in the location of Kato Vrysi, the caves of Breikos and of course the Pefki gorge which starts from their southern part and ends after two-hour hike in the area of Analipsi.
