'Here is a revised and improved version of the review: The Hotel Excelsior was a wonderful place to stay during my recent visit. The hotel's central location was incredibly convenient, just a short walk from all the major attractions and transportation hubs. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable - a true home away from home. The breakfast each morning was excellent, with a wide selection of high-quality, fresh items to choose from. But what really stood out was the...

'Very clean hotel, polite and kind staff and good location - close to national park and city center.'

'In a string of five backpacking days and high mountain huts, Hotel Sliezsky Dom was an unusually pampering exception. This is by far the most spoiling high mountain lodging I've ever been to (and I have trecked in five continents). Chef-made food, well equipped bar, comfortable rooms, and much more. Much more than a mere mountain hut'

'Uitzonderlijk goed restaurant. Michelin ster waardig. Fantastische wijnkaart. Bediening professioneel. Zwembad beetje klein en te koud. Bubbelbad te warm. Jammer.

'Excellent location. Lovely room/suite. Friendly staff'

'This is a beautiful hotel! It is set in a stunning location. The room was large and felt very luxurious. It has a bathtub, which is rather rare these days. The food in both the main dining room and the bar is delicious. Staff is lovely and knowledgeable about the area and is willing to arrange whatever activities that interest you.'

'Strange maze of corridors, 3rd floor room was extremely small and difficult to move around in. Windows were on ceiling, making it impossible to open and close them or even get the room adequately dark inside. Spa was nice, but hot-tub was only warm, not hot. Overpriced place, but lovely staff that highly trained and welcoming. '

'A comfortable Hotel near the Lomnicky Peak cable car station. A nice breakfast with a lot of different foods to choose from. Free parking behind the building.'

'Hotel is gedateerd en de WiFi is bar slecht. Ontbijt was prima, de kamer ruim. Op de TV kon je alleen Slowaakse zenders ontvangen.'

'It is a pleasant hotel. The staff is very helpful (though they do not speak so good English in the restaurant). Parking is for free and the breakfast is good. The rooms are big and quiet, and the beds are very comfortable.'

'We've stayed here on multiple occasions. It is well priced and a pleasant, simple hotel to stay at. We always enjoy our stay here. Beautiful views, as well.'

'I arrived late and they were waiting for me. Thank you.'

'Positieve ervaring met twee min punten, nl. de verwarming op de badkamer stond d veel te hoog en kon niet afgezet worden. Er was nergens in de buurt, maar dan ook nergens een plaats waar we konden een ontbijt kopen. '

'Keurig pension, goed Engels sprekende gastheer, vriendelijke mensen.'

'Well it's an okay hotel.'

'Je wordt niet serieus genomen door het personeel, van de 4 dagen hebben we 3 dagen geen wifi gehad. 3× gemeld. Werd niks aan gedaan. Ook werden de handdoeken nooit ververst. Dus 4 dagen dezelfde handdoek gehad!'

'We really enjoyed staying in our studio room and although we didn't cook we did use the kitchen for breakfast and snacks. We didn't have a washing machine, but the apartments do, so keep that in mind when picking rooms. The bathroom is ultra modern with a fab shower and lots of space. It is very central in town.'
