'Second time staying this year. First time was in August, we stayed in the “Chalet” but this time (October) we stayed in a 2-bedroom. Much nicer and more private than the Chalet. We saw many deer and wild turkeys around the property and it was lovely overall. It was our 15th wedding anniversary and although I sent a message to the property about that, asking about firewood for the fireplace, they did not respond. So they aren’t the best at communicating but we had a quiet nice anniversary...

'We attended a wedding at the Deerhurst Resort this past weekend. The condo was perfect for us as each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchenette has the basics but if cooking, you will want to bring some items or check with the owner prior to arrival. Very close to the resort. 'This was the perfect place to get the extended family together and there was something to do for everyone!! Communication was great! When we had questions they were answered immediately. The house was very spacious with great views of the river. The kitchen was large and well equipped. We prepared a full Thanksgiving dinner in it. 'Very comfortable for our family holiday with 4 adults, 1 pre-schooler & our dog. Clean & spacious, and very quiet. Easy to follow instructions to get there and for keypad entry; good room to park our SUV and hatchback; huge back yard; and safe street to walk up and down with our grandson & our pooch. 'Took a trip up to Muskoka for a weekend away with our bookclub. This property was the perfect getaway from the city. The fall leaves made the scenery picture perfect and the cottage had more than enough space for us to cook, read, enjoy each other’s company and watch some fall movies.
