Mr Butt is on hand to brief you on all the boats' history and brief you on Srinagar and nearby places of interest. Kaka his cook come butler does the rest. - the food is simple but of high quality. I sensed Mountbatten, Nelsinho Rockfeller etc in the wood panel rooms..............what more could one want other than the unenviable clear...

'We'd stayed herd for 2 nights. The staff is friendly and helpful and reall welcomed us. The room is large with new bathroom fittings. It is about 2 km from dal lake and cost us 80 rupees in an auto. Breakfast was ok we didn't have any other meals as we were out and about. '
