Tucked Away Cottage, prachtig ingerichte cottage in Grassington

Uitstekend stenen huisje in het hart van Grassington. Volledig gerenoveerd tot een uitzonderlijk hoge standaard in 2017 met goed uitgeruste, gezellige accommodatie, mooie tuin en prive-parking.

Ons goed ingerichte huisje is verstopt in het hart van Grassington Village, net buiten de bruisende hoofdstraat, maar een paar seconden verwijderd van het pittoreske geplaveide plein.
Dit huisje biedt een comfortabele, goed uitgeruste accommodatie voor maximaal vier personen en biedt een combinatie van moderne meubels en originele kenmerken. De zitkamer heeft zichtbare balken, houten vloeren en een meervoudige kachel. Slaapkamer 1 beschikt over een handgemaakt kingsize slee bed en slaapkamer 2 biedt de mogelijkheid van twee eenpersoonsbedden of een super kingsize bed. De prachtige tuin biedt een uitstekende plek om te dineren of te zonnebaden, en privéparkeerplaats ligt direct buiten het huisje.

Voorzieningen: Gas centrale verwarming en multi-brandstof kachel. Elektrisch fornuis, vaatwasser, magnetron, koelkast, tv. Bedlinnen en handdoeken aanwezig. Prive parkeerplaats voor 2 auto's. Omheinde tuin. Sorry, geen huisdieren en niet roken. Winkels, cafes en pubs 1 min lopen.

Houd er rekening mee dat toegang tot Brown Fold smal is en niet geschikt is voor voertuigen die groter zijn dan een doorvoerwagen.

Heerlijk knus vakantiehuis

Tucked away cottage is klein maar fijn. Voor gezin met 2 volwassenen en 2 tieners precies goed. Met name de locatie en sfeer zijn uitstekend. Heerlijke plek voor een wandelvakantie. In de avond zit je weer lekker bij de houtkachel! Maar ook voor uitjes naar de rest van de Dales of een dagje York prima plek. Miste alleen een gordijn voor het raam van de keukendeur waardoor je niet altijd privé zat te eten, maar verder helemaal prima.

Heel fijne cottage

Prachtige goed ingerichte cottage in het hart van het lieflijke maar ook levendige Grassington. We voelden er ons prima thuis. Het contact met met de eigenaressen was weliswaar enigszins op afstand maar prima verzorgd. Tucked Away Cottage is zeker een adres om aan te bevelen. Wij hopen zeker weer terug te komen. We were absolutely delighted with the property. It’s generously appointed, supremely comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Our hosts were very helpful and quick to respond which was greatly appreciated. As regular visitors to Grassington we very much hope to stay here again.

A very attractive, well-equipped and clean cottage. It was perfect for us. We appreciated having an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs loo. The kitchen was well-equipped; it even had a teapot (rare these days). We enjoyed sitting in the garden. Although in the middle of a busy village it was very quiet. As we don’t drive we used public transport, but car owners would like the parking spot outside the house.Unfortunately we had an emergency at home which meant we weren’t both there all the time, but we really want to come back here in the autumn, and in future years.

The property was as described and pictured on the website. The cottage was spotless and the host was friendly and helpful, and responsive to our requests. The location is perfect for accessing the various shops, post office and library in the village. Parking was a big plus for a property right in the village.

Perfect location

This is a lovely cottage in the middle of Grassington. Parking is a bit tight but manageable. The cottage is lovely, beds and sofas are comfortable. TV is excellent with an on demand selection. It was a bonus to have a secluded garden. Perfect for when the sun is out. It was clean (with the exception of a few cobwebs on the wall) and felt very homely. It was a quiet and peaceful place to stay and we would happily return.

Comfortable stay in great location

Perfect location, just a stone's throw from the square and shops etc in Grassington, and yet very quiet and peaceful. Comfortable beds, tastefully decorated (with beautiful oak furniture), cosy lounge and a lovely little private outdoor seating area. Allotted parking a major plus. Only improvement for me would be a Nespresso coffee machine but you could easily bring this with you. We had perfect weather during our stay and this property really added to the whole experience.

Tucked Away Cottage

This is a lovely cottage, well converted, in the centre of Grssington. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. It was very clean when we arrived, complete with an information pack, local guide books etc. we really enjoyed our stay here and Grassington is so pretty. Luckily we had great weather so we made the most of our stay touring the Dales.

Very pleasant 4 night stay in mid March. Weather kind to us. Beautiful local walks, no need to use the car during our stay. Planned to take the local bus to Appletreewick on Tuesday. Note it does not run on Tuesdays so went to Skioton!

Wonderful, warm cottage visited in midst of winter. Comfortable and cozy, with plenty of hot water. High quality appliances, furniture and finishes, with access to excellent pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The owners care very much about providing a care-free experience for visitors.An excellent base for anyone wishing to explore the dales, or having an interest in ACG&S TV series.
