'This was out second stay at Smithfield Inn. It is a beautiful inn. The staff was very nice & hospitable. The first time we stayed we ate breakfast in the inn dining room which was much better than the bakery/cafe where your abreast now.'

'Layed back stay is not ocean front so do jot expect the sandy beaches but this was a wonderful stay to relax, slow down and enjoy life. All of the staff were super nice and accommodating to us. The rooms were very clean and spacious verses a normal hotel room.'

'The property is clean and in proper order. The building is very quiet also, no booming or doors slamming during the night.
The coffee offered is excellent. I tavel a lot for business and expect nasty "hotel coffee". Here, it was genuine, tasty coffee that I enjoyed.
Hilton does indeed set the standard.'

'The staff was very helpful when our TV wasn't working and when we couldn't figure out our AC. They even helped with our toilet and cleaned and replaced our towels while doing so. And our light under the microwave needed to be replaced too. I thought you guys provided things like silverware, plates, cups etc... but I was wrong. I wish we'd still had a lamp or some kind of light at or near the dinner table as it's too dark for me. The only other thing is the 50 dollar deposit when checking in. I...

Got to the room and there were ticks in the bed.
So the guy at the desk moved our room
Had to put a $50 smoking deposit for the room
When i checked out and wanted my $50 back, at 7;30 am the lady at the desk was very rude again. We didnt smoke in the room.

'It’s a safe place to lay your head if you can tolerate the wife if she’s working the desk. She is beyond rude and it’s something much more than a bad day. The rooms are okay and I am a local that will stay twice a month and be sure to bring an extra towel because the shower curtains do not keep water from getting the floor wet. '

"Voordeel van dit hotel is dat het erg dichtbij pretpark Busch Gardens Williamsburg ligt. De kamer was ruim en de bedden lagen prima. Echter zat er wel een grote gele vlek in het beddengoed en een oude bloedvlek. Medewerkers waren ook niet allemaal even vriendelijk."
