This beautiful log cabin sits beside East Pond in Smithfield Maine. With direct access to the lake, you can hit the lake first thing in the morning and play all day. Or, stick closer to home and drop a line off the dock for some good old-fashioned fishing. Swimming, boating, fishing, or relaxing in the sun, however you like to relax, we have it here at Fish Upon A Star Cabins.
The Central Maine area also offers so many opportunities for indoor and outdoor fun. The cabin is centrally located to Augusta, Waterville, Skowhegan and Belgrade Lakes so you can discover all our area has to offer!
This two floor cabin boasts 4 cozy but spacious bedrooms, a large kitchen, spacious sitting room and dining room with seating for 10. The wrap around screened-in porch includes two seating areas for chatting the evening away and a dining table for meals or for family game nights.
In the warmer months, you will find a gas grill and a charcoal grill, two outdoor seating areas and a dining table. The lake side seating area circles a firepit, looking out over the private dock and swimming area. Kayaks, a canoe and pfd's are available for you to get out onto beautiful East Pond for a day of sightseeing and sunshine. Pontoon Boat and jet ski rentals are also available for longer excursions.
In colder weather (weather permitting), direct lake access offers opportunities for ice fishing, snowmobiling, and nordic skiing. Bring your own equipment or rent from a local outdoor goods shop. Spend the day playing in the snow and curl up at night by the cozy gas fireplace. There's something for every season here on the lake. :)
