'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...

'Beach access is perfect and a beautiful view of the ocean from our room. The bed was comfy, the room was clean warm and inviting, it’s a quick and easy walk into town. Our host was great she gave us all the necessary information and asked about our arrival time and any special needs we might have. '

'Great spot, unique and charming. Would definitely stay here again and recommend. Areas for improvement: security and presentation of food. Breakfast was good, but my omelette was dumped on top of my home fries and the sweets were served on the same plate as savory. Nit picky perhaps, but hopefully well received critique.'
